The seat is low enough that newly walking toddlers can climb on and off by themselves without getting hurt. The fact that older children can use it and "scoot" it across the floor as they rock is a great plus as far as use for ages 1-5. I have my son's wooden rocking horse from the 80's, but this one is much safer for the wee ones to use. I guess they can use both and have a horse race! Fun!!!

I was amazed by how much my daughter enjoyed this horse at daycare and had to have one for home. Easy as pie, just took it out of the box and it was ready to go. Thank you for such a wonderful product and keep up the good work!

ALL of my children , age 7 and under(4 of them) LOVE this toy. But my almost 2 year old,who we bought it for, climbed right on and has full claim. She loves it. The design is great. It is easy for her to rock and get on without tipping. A great buy!! I am sure our newest addition will be rocking as soon as he can walk.

Bought this toy for my 3 year old and 10 month old. They both love it. It's sturdy enough for my older daughter to ride it and doesn't topple over on my youngest when she tries to get on it herself. Very pleased with this purchase!!

I purchased the rocking horse for my 15 month old grandson. He took to it immediately! My 8 year old granddaughter had one and I saw how much fun she had with it. She rocked really aggressively and never had a problem. It is as safe as can be. The high back supports the back and neck of the little one very well. It seems indistuctable as well. Thanks Little Tikes!

Over the years, I have bought 4 of these rocking horses,as gifts, or for my own children. They are so durable, and can take much abuse from active boys. One of my sons put a leash around the horse's neck and pulled him around for days, stating this was his pet pony. We had to make sure the pony was fed and watered also. This same son (who was still in a crib when he got the horse) figured out that he could push the horse up to his crib and use it to get in and out of the crib. We soon moved him to a big boy bed. Now, our granddaughters love to ride the horse. The older ( 8 + 5) girls rock hard enough to scoot the horse across the room. I just love the play value this horse gives. It can be anything the child's imagination can dream up!!!!!!!

I bought this for a few dollars second hand but I would pay full price! It has been a serious favorite among my 3 children ages 1-4. My two older kids actually sit on either end of the horse and use it as a teeter totter. We have loved the little horsey! Definately worth the money. Very durable. Especially good for younger wobbly children.

This horse lasted through four children and their friends. It now lives in our church nursery. Other than losing an eye once (likely pulled off and easily repaired) it has held up to the play of both small and way-too-big-for-it kids. I am now waiting to purchase one for my toddler nephew.

Henry is 20months old and loves to ride it wildly. He has so much fun, his lil feet fly into the air every rock. It is is great for indoors or outdoors and easy to clean....hose down! The best part was no assembly; just pull out of the box!

One of my son's favorite Christmas presents this year. He hopped on and started rocking saying WEEE! He has something similar at daycare that he loves to play on so I had Santa search for one for us to have at home. My son was 21 mths at Christmas. This is the perfect size and light enough that he can push it around if he wants to rock in another room. I wish you could purchase at a store.

I bought this for my daugther's first Christmas at 11 1/2 months old. She loves it and plays on it everyday since she got it. I only wish they had a boy and a girl color. I'd have loved to had a pink or purple one for my daughter. However the color doesn't seem to bother my daughter at all. She just rocks away. Kids can rock fast on this one and have fun. Even if they do fall over you don't have to worry about them being so high off the ground they will get hurt if they fall off. My first daughter had one when she was little and she loved it so much. I wanted our new daughter to have as much fun rocking as our first one did. I was right because she does.

This rocking horse is great because it is easy to use. My little boy was able to rock himself at 10 months. The seat is close to the floor, so his feet can reach the bottom of the horse. I don't worry too much about falls because of the low seat.

My 13 yr.old granddaughter had this horse when she was a year old. 16 mo. ago I found myself a grandma to a new granddaughter and all I could remember is the fun and joy it gave to my first granddaughter. I searched toy store after toy store to no avail. Remembered the brand and got on-line and there it was. What a find, I immediately ordered it and just know Emily will love her new rocking horse.
Keep this rocking horse going, because it brings more joy to little ones than you can imagine.

My 18 month old granddaughter had used one of these at her daycare and loved it! She loves the one I bought for her as well. The only problem with it is that there is a center seam along the seat and back which was not smooth in a couple of places - there were some sharp edges sticking up.

We first saw this rocking horse at our daughter's daycare. She's in the toddler classroom and this is her absolute favorite toy. Her teachers have told us she loves to spend time on the rocking horse, so we wanted her to have her own at home. Its been a great toy for her - its durable and just the perfect size for a toddler.

I bought this rocking horse for my 1 year old granddaughter. She is not walking yet but she can get on with some help and can get off all by herself. I love that it is so close to the floor and she can't get hurt. It is easy to pick up and take with you. The ONLY thing I was not happy with was that you can not buy it in retail stores,only online.

My 19 mo daughter first tried a rocking toy like this one in her Gym Rompers class. I could never get her off of it so I knew having one at home would big hit. Her and her friends love this toy. It is great outdoors or indoors.

No assembly required. We like letting our boys discover new things first and then help them along the way as needed. I opened the box in font of them and like usual they gravitated toward the empty boxes. My boys like to test things in their workshop (hardwood floor) So they were pushing these horses all over the place. The initial test passed then they started sitting in them the wrong direction but eventually got it right. Because it is light and easy to move they slid it to different places easily. One of my sons likes to turn it over on its side and sit back into the seat on the floor.

My boys like the fact that this new toy is light, simple, and they seem to be in control of it. There is a lot of discovering for them in addition to just rocking. They figured that out and it rocks just as well on the carpet as the hard wood floor. Since we have twins it is a must that we have almost two of every toy or there will be war! The fact that the color stands out from a lot of things is good for their eyes. We also have the Little Tikes castle/slide w/ the captain's wheel and they absolutely love it. Both are a great addition as they grow older and help development. BTW: My boys are 20 months.

I purchased this rocking horse for my 20 month old daughter after she fell in love with one at church. She absolutely loves it. It is very safe. The only con is that it isnt the most attractive color.

My grandson loved this toy as much as my daughter did 15 years ago...I am so happy you still had it available online. Consider selling it in stores, as I looked in [...],[...] and more and no one had it...it is a great toy for any child 12 plus months who can sit up and hold on and it will still be fun for another 8-10 months !!

My daughter who is now 16 enjoyed this so much as a toddler. She loved horses and still remembers how much fun she had. She could even ride on it like a see-saw with a friend. We had it for years and it never faded, chipped, or lost it's appeal for her. I just purchased one for my co-worker's son who is turning one! They are in for years of fun and enjoyment

Well crafted, rugged toy for two active toddlers. My Grandsons (1 yr & 2 1/2 yr old) are learning to share this favored toy. It is a great seat for watching cartoons. A good pastime while Mom cooks dinner. A great "inside" activity that doesn't take up a lot of room or make a mess. If it wasn't for the importance of learning to share, I would have bought two of them.

THIS LITTLE HORSE IS GREAT FOR MANY REASONS. LITTLE ONES SUCH AS A 1 YR. OLD CAN GET ON AND OFF ALONE. IF THEY FALL THEY ROLL OFF AND IT WOULD BE VERY HARD FOR THEM TO GET HURT. THIS WORKED VERY WELL FOR A CHILD WITH MULTIPLE DISABILITIES WHO HAPPENED TO BE AROUND WHEN WE GAVE MY GRANDSON THIS FOR HIS 1ST BIRTHDAY. SHE WAS ABLE TO SIT ALONE AND JUST ROLLED OFF WHEN SHE WAS DONE. IT SITS VERY LOW TO THE GROUND AND IS VERY LIGHT WEIGHT.

I love this toy. My girls had this nine years ago and when we were blessed to find out we were having a boy, it was no doubt that I wanted this toy for him. It's a blast. All the giggles and to top it all of, it never once tipped in any way. I actually went on a search for this toy since I couldn't find it in my local stores. I came to the Little Tikes website and found it! [...] but for me, I knew I wanted this.

I purchased one of these cute rocking horses for my daughter when she turned one (she's 7 now). I'll never forgot had attached she became to this horse. She sat on it every chance she got. She could rock on this horse hard enough that it would actually travel across our wood floors. Once she got too big for it, I donated it to her daycare center. They only had a couple of them and the children would fight over them. When my step-granddaughter turned one, I knew that this was the gift that I wanted to get her! I was thrilled to find it online since I couldn't find it in any stores. [...] There are no cons to this product. Affordable and worth every penny!

I gave this rocking horse to all three of my children when they turned one year old. All three enjoyed it immensely for several years. The only thing I have to watch out for as far as safety is that when they really get to rocking, they have sometimes hit their mouth on the horses mane and busted their lip. Otherwise, it is a wonderful toy for any toddler to three year olds.

My oldest daughter got this when she was a baby. It lasted through her and then her brother, then was passed on to a neighbor. This is the best rocker we have ever bought. It rocks smooth on carpet or tile. It's very durable and hard to damage. The design is great, it doesn't have any parts that get in the way of riding like similar rockers do. The kids love it more than any other ride-on toy. I was thrilled to find it online, and I have now bought it again for my third baby.
