I gave the HandiWorker Workhorse as a gift to my nephew. All of the his cousins were soon gathered around the toy playing so well together. My nephew is 2 years old and this was just the perfect size for him.

The nails are too easy to push into the holes. The cogs on the front of the workbench don't turn easily enough. I do like the way the screws work.

This workbench is a nice size for toddlers. Not too big and easy to store away after play. The gears are hard to turn but will probably loosen up after some use.

It's fun to work with Tools!

Our son received this for Christmas and both our boys 2 and 4 love playing with it, even though it does not stay together because of an error putting it together when we got it. I hope to fix the problem so they can play with it the way it was intended to be played with and I'm sure they will have a blast with it then.

This was a Christmas gift for my son who is almost 2. He and my nephew who is the same age play with this toy so well together. The tools work with their counterpart od either screws or nails. The tools can store easily under the wood or on the side where the pegs stick out. Very durable.

Great toy - has 6 holes for nails and screws but only 5 nails, same for tools - has 6 hooks but only 4 tools - everyone asks where they are!

My son loves the little hammer and screw drivers along with the nails and screws. It is just the right height for him. Great for motor development as he learns to twist the screws and connect the hammer with the nail.I had read a number of reviews that made me worry about this product, especially for hard to assemble and easy to collapse. We found it easy to assemble and very durable. If you need help assembling, ask a friend! No problems here!

Easy to put together ,but you do have to kind of force the legs apart once you have the metal rods put in. I was afraid I was going to damage it but its very sturdy and of course little tikes brand had never let me down, once you end up clicking the legs out then it stands on its own with no fear of falling over. Great toy for two years old,easy for them to carry around and the tools can be stored in the lid or on the side. We had this for our son and so impressed we got it for his cousin when he reached two years too.Many many years of joy ahead, Thanks little tikes.

Our nearly 2 year old loves to bang with the hammer on the "nails"
on top of this workbench, and use the tools to "fix" his cars and trucks. He loves to hide toys in the little storagearea, too. Stands up well during play, but collapses easily for transport. For the money, a great toy.

My one year old got this for Christmas and loves playing with it--it actually holds his attention for more than 10 seconds. He loves to try out the tools and to put things in and out of the storage well. My 3 year old also has fun playing with it. It's also made in the U.S.A. The only reason I did not give this toy 5 stars is because the gears are very tight and difficult to turn. I'm hoping they loosen with more use.
