Love that made in the USA sign. How refreshing.
This was a purchase for my Granddaughter. It was a replacement for a less sturdy cart that she wore out. I'm sure she will out grow this cart before it wears out.
I did check out other products, but yours was the best for the price. I love the cart and so does my Granddaughter. It doesn't get any better.

We bought this for our almost 1 year old for Christmas. She is just learning to walk and enjoys pushing it around. My older kids love it also. It is strong enough and well built to handle their rough play. I like it when a toy can be enjoyed by many ages and it will grow with our youngest. The shopping cart it taller than I had expected. The only negative thing I have noticed is when my kids push it by the basket instead of the handle it tends to tip over.

My son (21 months) has had a lot of fun "shopping.) We set up toy food around the house, shop, and then put the food away in his kitchen. It is fun for playdates also. It took me a while to get it together but I am really not handy. This is a great, classic toy.

This shopping cart was purchased for my 2 year old Grand daughter. She was so excited and started playing with it immediately. She likes to take her best friend Curious George shopping for goodies around the house in the cart.

This is very good but does tip over easy. Child must be steady on their feet before this is safe. My granddaughter tiped it on herself and is now afraid of it.... Hopefully after she gets a bit older it will work better for her.

Shopping is for boys too!

I bought this for my 19 month old son for Christmas. He LOVES this thing. My husband was worried that with it being a "shopping cart" it was too girly. Not at all. My son throws all his toys in it and pushes it around. Sure beats him trying to move furniture!

Thanks very much to Al from New Jersey who posted his review. If not for him, I would have NO IDEA that I was supposed to drill holes in step 1.

Looks like a pretty durable toy, and I am sure little Holly will enjoy it! (once i figure out the directions- who put those together??)

My mother has the previous Little Tikes model shopping cart, it is much sturdier and doesn't tip over easily. The basket on the older model is all one piece with the frame. When my on leans on he front of the new cart, the cart tips over.

children learn by imitation and imagination. Show your child how to shop,clean up toys, play with dolls, etc. while exercising- pushing a sturdy cart. Don't need a computer game to do that!

We got this for our children for daily play, and I have been very impressed by how well it has held up to its rigorous use.

This product is very well made, durable, and can withstand all of the abuse that it endures on a daily basis. (As my rambuncuous son can attest to.)

We use ours for not only grocery pretend play, but also library and other "shop" play.

Thanks for making such a durable and well loved toy. It truly is a staple toy in our home.

Be prepared. Assembly instructions are drawings only:

Step 1 diagram shows screws through holes in part B into slots in part D. There are NO HOLES in part B and the screws are NOT self tapping. I did step 2 first to assist in holding the basket in place so I could drill holes for step 1.

In step 2 it is not immediately clear that there are two different size screws, although close examination of the drawing does show slightly different size screws and different part letters. The part list does not indicate screw dimensions.

Step 5 shows wheel assembly. The cart we received had pre-assembled wheels indicating manufacturing is ahead of documentation.

Otherwise I think it is a durable item and I believe my granddaughter will love it.

I loved finding the shopping cart at all, and then to find it in "PINK" was great!! My grand daughter loves anything "PINK", I only wish I could find the toy grocery items that I had when my kids were younger. The little boxes of cereal, canned goods, eggs, fruits and veggies. I'll keep looking but have had no luck, except in sets, kitchen, baking, pizza. I don't have use for all of that "stuff" I just would love to find the food only!!

First of all, I know things change over time, but I was really hoping that this shopping cart would still be like it was 20 years ago. The basket was extemely durable and tough. I used it through 3 kids and gave it to a friend and she used it with all of her kids and gave it to someone else.
All that aside, this seems like it will be durable but not as tough as the original one. I'm glad there is still a seat for a baby doll, my grandaughter loves to take her babies everywhere! Since this is a Christmas gift, I can't comment on how easy it will be for her to push and play with, but I'm sure it will be perfect for her.
I have not come across a Little Tykes product in 20+ years that I have not be very happy with.
I will be back to shop again, very soon.

The preschoolers in our program use the shopping carts daily on the playground and believe me these toys take a beating. The durable construction allows the cart to stand up to even our roughest, toughest little tikes. We play with these carts until the wheels are worn through or literally fall off which often takes years.

I love how durable this toy is, that is the whole reason i went with this particular shopping cart over other *cheaper* ones. My 14month old daughter loves putting her baby in the cart and pushing it around... picking up toys along the way and throwing them in. Only down side is it doesn't come with he durable looking food that you see on the box and in the picture. I cant seem to find *shopping* food that looks like that anywhere!

This was a birthday gift for my daughter 7 years ago. It still looks as new as the day we bought it.

It's been through numerous children by now and is still going strong.

It's provided hours and hours of fun for the kids. They love shopping and putting their "babies" into the cart to take with them.

The only semi negative thing I can think of is my monkeys liked to crawl into the back of it to have their older siblings push them around the house. Yikes! But even with them doing that the cart has never tipped over. But of course they never make it far. As soon as they are spotted that ride is over.

This cart is by far the best one I have seen on the market yet. Great quality.

I could not find a quality shopping cart in the store. I had great memories of my Little Tikes shopping cart and how strong it was to survive 5 kids. I found this online and immediately bought it thinking it couldn't be any worse than the horribly flimsy one my daughter already had. I was delighted to find that this shopping cart is like the one I remember...it is tough, cute, and ready for anything.
I was disappointed that a set of groceries made by Little Tikes was not offered.
