MY HUSBAND AND I MADE THIS PURCHASE FOR OUR 2 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER FOR CHRISTMAS (2009). SHE LOVES IT. ITS GOOD FOR INDOOR PLAY ON THOSE DAYS THAT U CANT GET OUTSIDE IN THE WINTER. IT WAS VERY EASY FOR ME TO PUT TOGETHER. U ONLY HAVE TO PUT THE HEAD ON,AND PUT THE BATTERIES IN. IT IS VERY HEAVY. MY 9 YEAR RIDES IT, MY 19 YEAR GOT ON IT AS WELL. SHE ONLY 130LBS. My grandaughter had a stroke when she was 18 months old and has some weekness on her right side and in riding the giddyup n go pony it really works her legs and feet and is great for coordination.

This toy is fun for both my 5 year old and my 10 year old! It seems like a toy for a toddler, but my elementary school girl (who rides actual horses too) really loves playing on it. I may have to get two of them they like it so much!

The pony is very fun. My kids are 2 and 4 and they love them.The things that I do not like about them it that they are very heavy and turn over easy and they aslo do not backup.You have get up a thousands times to turn tham around.Other than that they were a great thing to get my kids.

We were a little ahead of ourselves, as our two grandsons are 2 and 1 year old. But they love it anyway, feeding and sitting while we walk them around the rooom! They'll soon be riding it on their own, but we just fell in love with the whole pony idea and just had to get it for them!

The head of the horse was very hard to zip up because the fabric was sew onto the zipper but once I cut it alway it zipped right up. My son is two and giddyup's all around the house. The horse does not go backwards so it makes it hard when he goings into a corner because the horse is very heavy. Also the turning says 4 feet but it"s more like 14 feet. It does not turn very well at all. Over all my son loves this horse.

Per my daughter, my 4 granddaughters (ages 2-8) can't wait to get on the horse when they wake up in the morning. My daughter said it is the best gift for everyone and provides a great deal of exercising for them. They even have a "real" pony to ride at their other grandparents, but when they can't ride the real horse, this is the best thing to do! I just wish I had one when I was a kid. My father was a "real" thoroughbred horse jockey and I spent many days and nights clearing out his trunk to place his saddle on my rocking horse and his skull cap and goggles on. This gift is fabulous! I don't have any negative comments to make. The 2 year old even likes to press the ears to hear the horse walking and making horse sounds. Thank you.

Awesome gift for our budding rider!!! My daughters uncle got us this for the babies second christmas (she's not yet two). She rides it from room to room and can even steer to avoid walls. This was her favoride gift this Christmas. Sure beat all of Santa's gifts!!! She loves it and we do as well as it provides hours and hours and hours and hours of great excersize and fun!

We bought this for my 4 year old boy for his birthday and he has played with it non-stop. When he plays on it outside it attracts all of the kids in the neighborhood. We also play with it in our basement.

We love the pony but my question is where can we get replacement parts for it one of the wheels broke so we need a replacement wheel or if they come in a set of four that is fine to, Just someone to heavy tried to ride it and broke one wheel. My daughter loves this pony and had great fun with it for awhile. But after 4 months the brake handle broke and its not usable. I tried to get a replacement part but its not in the listings for replacement parts. This is very disappointing and difficult for me as a working mum. I have contacted company using a different product but explained my dilemma. So we wait and see!!!

My daughter coulnt wait to get it out of the box and assembled! Its not hard to assemble if you just read the directions! I thought at first it didnt work but after checking the breaks on the back hoofs and losing the break leaver it worked perfect. I suggest to those having a hard time assembling or difficulty getting it to work properly, READ THE DIRECTIONS! Especially prior to assembling!

My three year old daughter received this for Christmas after asking Santa for a horse. She was totally thrilled and it is her favorite toy. It is definitely an outside toy unless you have a huge uncarpeted space to ride it on. We live in Cleveland and it has been too cold to ride it frequently, but on warmer days she spends as much time on it as she can. It is a great toy, very sturdy, and totally adorable. I am not sure what the people are doing to them that cannot get the heads on or pulling the tails off? You can't carry it around by the tail!

We are fortunate to have bare floors on most of our first floor. The pony works great on them. It is heavy to move and does not go backwards. My 5 yr old is big for her age about 4 ft and 50 pounds so she has some strength so it is not a problem for her to move the horse. She rode it so much that she got a rash on the inside of her legs. She loves it and it helps her with her regular horse riding lessons.

This is an excellent toy for 7 and 4 year old sons. I thought my 2 year old daughter would be able to ride, but she was unable to reach the adjustable pedals. Oh, well. I think in another year she will be able to ride 'Jefferey' or 'Lucky'. Wonderful product! I purchased 2 for my children for Christmas 2008. They love them!

Bought this for my 19 month old grandson, he only rides with supervision until he is older, he LOVES it! He will get years of play with this pony. I will purchase more as the grandchildren arrive!

The kids loved it, however, the head did not stayed zipped, the wheels did not turn and the tail kept falling off. We returned it to the store.

This horse does NOT ride well on carpet. My son is 38 pounds and he is unable to bounce and make the horse go. How much weight does this thing require. It should state a minimum required weight as well. I feel like I wasted [$] since he is unable to use it. I would definitely NOT recomment this product.

This is a fun ride for our 4-year old grandson. It's easy to steer, but he has to get off and move it when he gets stuck in a corner or around a bend, as it doesn't go in reverse.

My grandbabies are enjoying the ponies (yes I bought 2) immensely. We decided on these as opposed to "buttercup?" because they really could ride them. It took a couple times but they got the hang of riding them. They are 3 & 5 and until they noticed they both had one we had a tussle!!!!! I am so glad I chose this for their special Christmas present this year!!!!

This was given to our 4 year old daughter for Christmas today. It was the only thing she asked for and it definitely lived up to expectations. It took a few minutes for her to get the hang of it, but then she was go to go. Very attractive toy and great fun. A little stiff to turn, but it doesn't hinder the play.

My parents bought this for my 2-1/2 yr old and my 7 year old loves it!! It is much bigger and more sturdy than it looks on tv. We thought the 2 year old would only be able to use it for a short time, but it goes up to age 8 (or 160 pounds)! The saddle is designed to go up and down, which is what makes the horse move forward and the tail swishes when the child rides it. A great alternative to a real pony.

My son wanted this so bad for Christmas. It was very pricey so his grandparents got it for him. My son believes he is a true cowboy and was pumped when he opened it! However, if you have a home without carpet this is the perfect toy for you! As stated on TV and the box this pony is supposed to go on carpet but it doesnt! Also the pony has a brake which their little hands bump while trying to get this thing to go up and down. My son is 4 1/2 and weighs 45 lbs and still can't get it to go up and down. When he does get it to go down it gets stuck and wont come back up! THe head turns which is very cute however the child has to physically turn the horse around which is not an easy task because it is heavy! I have had to push my son around the house on this horse which is taking the fun out of it! I would not recommend this toy for any child!

This toy is going to be a lot of fun. My 2 year old loves it. He is too young to actually ride it but he loves to 'feed' it. I posted a video on YouTube! He'll grow into it.

One word of caution, I would not have a child open up this box b/c it is packaged w/a detached head. I could really see a kid opening this up and totally freaking out.

My son was distracted so it wasn't a problem. We assembled the head quickly.

If you want to give this to a child just be sure to open and assemble it.

My sons grandparents bought this for my son on his 4th birthday and he is on it non-stop in our basement. The first day he used it he took a 4 hour nap because he was so tired. The neighbors want one now too and want to come over and play all the time. Hopefully, Santa brings them one too.

I am 64 years old and I remember getting a Mobo Bronco for my 7th Christmas. It worked exactly like the Giddyup N Go Pony only it was metal. I had so much fun with that toy and got lots of exercise! I am sure that anyone who receives a Giddyup N Go Pony will love it. I am going to buy it for my grandchildren.
