My grandson loves the truck. He loves to pretend he is coming to visit me and gives me lots of hugs and kisses every time he does. My only fear is that the door will not last with him going in and out and it is difficult for him to close when he is in the truck. Grandpa was not very happy with the way it went together, the instructions were not very clear. It came is such a big box, it could have come with only minor items to assemble.

We have had many "Cozy Coupes" in our family over the years because they were such a great toy loved by boys and girls. My oldest grandson has one so we wanted something a little different for his 1year old brother. Well the pick-up was a big hit with both boys. They love how the tailgate goes down and holds the toolbox. It was a great gift. They play with it constantly.
The only thing it is lacking is the hole to put the key in.(The cozy coupe has one.)

Very cute little truck for my toddler. Putting it together was a challege the front tires weren't even and they wiggled and were off-balance. We had to purchase a 1/2" nut to make the tires even and work properly. Took four or five hours to assemble including time to go purchase a nut to fix the front wheel. Overall a good sturdy truck once you get the tires fixed

This truck was used in a children's activity center and was absolutely loved! Unfortunately, someone did find a way to break off the door. We are terribly upset there is no replacement for the door. Now it looks less "classy". :(

This is the best toy our 3 year old grand twins have ever had. THe first night they both slept with them in their beds. This is the first and last toy my little one plays with each day. He loves crawling and climbing all over this pick-up truck. It is a bit cumbersome and rather difficult to piece together. We love the tools. Those are quite nice, solid and function very well.

The truck is amazing!!! My husband drives a black F150 and now our son has his own lil' black truck. He is almost 2yrs and the truck is perfect for his age level. It's easy for him to get in and out of. The truck also came with a hard hat and tool box with is a great extra. I highly recommend this truck for your lil' guy:)

Great for two kids, as one can "drive" and the other can ride on the back. My 4 year old plays in it with his friends but also loves his 18 month old brother to ride with him, too! My 20 mos. old grandson is crazy about his new truck! While he has not yet mastered moving it with his feet, he gets in and out of it easily and especially enjoys shutting the door once he is inside...he firmly shuts the door, puts his elbow out the window, the other hand on the wheel, turns and gives me a HUGE smile! Our two yr. old grandson just loves his truck. It was simple to assemble, and did'nt take long at all, and the smile on his face was priceless. The price was wonderful too. I do wish the company would make a small hand held one. My folks gave this to my 18mo son for his 1st birthday. He absolutely LOVED this thing from the moment he first got in it. It stayed inside until warmer weather and we didn't have room for it, so it was really a climbing toy. Then when it got nice outside he discovered how much fun it was to roll down the driveway, so it now has double duty, climber and ride-on. Every child that comes over wants to play with it. We're super pleased with it!

My 3 year old grandson and 1 year old granddaughter both love this and fought over it until I bought a car too. Only problem is that before my granddaughter got bigger and used to sitting in it she did slide down and I didn't see her and sort of ran over her when pushing the truck for her. In regard to the door not shutting, we don't shut it all the way - just til it stays shut - and they can open it on their own and then shut it the same way.

My 15-month-old nephew LOVES this truck, which means I am happy. He loves using the screwdriver and hammer! Assembly was easy, but held up by the fact that the holes for one wheel weren't properly aligned and it was tough to get it together. Also, the door isn't as secure as it could be. I know this will be a toy that will last and keep him busy for a while to come.

My little guy got this for his 2nd birthday. He cannot quite figure out yet how to propel himself with his feet, but he like to be pushed in it and steer. He also enjoys putting a bunch of important items in the tailgate and pushing it around. I think this is a great learning toy, as well as a great tool in large motor skill development. More "manly" for the little boys than the red and yellow cozy coupe! :) Its a "truck just like daddy's and grandpa's"! Very cute and seem like it will last through a rough little boy and maybe his brother someday!

It took two of us a couple of hours to assemble this, but our 2 year old grandson loves it. One of the holes was malformed and we had to drill and buff it out. The fit wasn't perfect, but it has held up so far. We really wish the steering wheel was connected to the wheels. The toolbox was a nice addition.

Mikey loves his pickup! He isn't quite big enough to make it go, but he pushes is backward with his feet or gets out and pushes the truck. He sits by the stereo and pretends he's listening to his radio, gives rides to his stuffed animals, and fixes things with his toolbox. The only negative thing I would say (and it has nothing to do with the overall product), is that is came with a number of gouges in the plastic and one of the screw covers was poorly formed and broken, so now we have no extra covers--which will probably not be needed anyhow because it's a Little Tikes product =)

I bought this truck 4 years ago for may first grandson. All my grandkids enjoy playing with this truck, from 10 months old to my first grandson who will soon be 7. I wanted to get my daughter the coupe for her 1st birthday, but when we went online my husband fell in love the truck. The only thing is that it took my handy husband about an hour to put together. I don't know if he didn't pay attention to the instructions or what. We didn't put the side graphic stickers on the the truck because it kind of looked 1980ish and it would be great if it came with a mirror sticker. My son loves the tailgate that opens and closes. The more moving parts on a toy the better he will like it. He loves the tool box with a screwdriver that can be used to turn the included screws into place. He loves the hardhat, and he loves being able to put the toolbox in the bed of the pickup. Unfortunately, the toolbox rests on the top of the sides rather than sitting on the bottom of the bed of the pickup. He tries repeatedly to sit it on the bottom of the bed and close the tailgate, but the bed is just too small to shut the tailgate with it in there. Still, it's a great toy and he loves it.

Pictures instructions were not that easy to follow - some wording on the instructions would be helpful.
The truck came with some scratches in the plastic which were apparently a factory defect.
We bought this for our grandon's 2nd birthday and we are sure he will love it. Our son had a Little Tikes car when he was younger and he played with it until he was too big to fit in it anymore.

I bought this for my 5 year old grandson, because he liked playing with the Cozy Coupe purchased for his younger brother. He loves the truck, but I'm afraid he might grow out of it before he tires of it. He is tall for his age and there isn't a lot of knee room.

It was easy for my son-in-law to put together, but he is very handy with tools and had recently assembled the Coupe. I think I could have done it myself with a screwdriver and a mallet.

My grandson is not impressed with the bonus hard hat or the tool box but his little brother likes those.

My 17 month old son loves climbing in and out of this truck opening and shutting the door. He hasn't quite got moving it with his feet yet, but that will come soon. It is great because he loves it now and will still love it when he is older. It is very stable to! He can climb in the bed of the truck with no fear that it will turn over on him. We love this toy! I purchased this truck for my twin boys for their 2nd birthday. They love it so much, they share! It is incredibly durable and the accessories that come with it are so fun. I wouldn't say it was hard to put together but it definately wasn't easy. There was a hole missing in the frame that the door was suposed to seat into and I had to make it myself, but I got it done with very little effort. I would absolutely recommend this toy!

My 2 year old Grandson just loves this truck. I would buy it again and again. I plan to get another one for his 3 year old sister. The only problem I have is that when we received it the truck was all scratched up. It looks like a return. Indoor/outdoor use. It's great for boys and girls, it maneuvers easily, it has growing room, and it's less dangerous then a motorized ride-on.
Some areas that could improve are; a lighter color (due to becoming hot, if left in the sun) and the door does not close all the way.
Otherwise, it's a great little truck and our grandson LOVED it!

Put it together with my 3 yr old son's "help" - took about an hour. You need to pay attention to the directions but once it was done, the kids took off with it and it has not stopped moving yet. Best money I have spent in a long time.

We bought this for a Christmas gift for our 2 yr. old granddaughter. She loves it and cant get enuff of it. It has not made it home to her house as of yet because I watch her and her brother 5 days a week. Her 9 mo. old cousin is here often also and loves it as much as she does...so...gma and gpa are going to have to invest in another one as there is much arguing over it.
The toolbox is also a big hit with all of them so it would be great if we could puchase that by itself.
I did have to super glue the tailight decals as they would keep peeling off.

the twins [will be two in june] took to the truck immediately, big enough for both. they figured everything out in just a few minutes. they loved the tools, but because it's being used by two, needs a second hardhat. tried to buy one as a 'replacement part', but was told it was not available??? otherwise a 5 star.

The classic pick-up is a great toy, our little boy thinks its fantastic and we do too. It was fun and easy to put together. Decals are great, and go on easy. Only one complaint, the door did not stay closed after assembly. With some minor fiberglass work, and some black paint, the door opens and closes and will stay closed when you close it. If it hadn't been for that minor flaw, I would've rated the Truck a five.

This thing is AWESOME! This was my son's first birthday present. I know, he's still a little too young to really enjoy or use it.
At his birthday party, in a gym, we had about 30 kids from 1-7 years of age. They were all over this truck. At one time there were 7 kids on and in it. I don't know how they did it, but they were everywhere. They played and played with it the entire time.
So it's definitely durable, and even comes with a little tool set and hard hat. Great accessories for any boy, but even the girls enjoy them.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone. It's just what I expected from the Little Tikes company.

It did, however, take some time and muscle to put together, and some parts (e.g., one door and the tailgate) don't close as well as they ought to. Also, my boys seem to have some trouble pushing it while sitting. They often will partially stand and stick their heads out of the front window to get enough momentum going. I don't know if this is their personal preference or a necessity due to the weight of the vehicle.

Our previous Little Tikes Car has lasted years, and is still being used, so we anticipate this truck to also last a long time. We love that it has rather deep space in the trunk to tote items, even the family cat (just be careful and slow since there is not a seatbelt in the back)! It really is fun for both our boys, 3 yrs and 2 yrs. We are pleased with our purchase.

I was very disapointed when we were putting the truck together to find out that the left front wheel would not touch the ground. the body of the truck was cockeyed. we couldnt get the wheel to touch. it was so frustrating. it still doesnt touch and that makes for very little fun when the grandkids try to drive it. The other thing i dont like about it is the tail gate wont stay up and latched. just the least little touch and it falls open. Just not a happy camper about the truck with these issues.

This truck is so neat looking. My 21 month old son got it from Santa. I will never forget the look on his face when he found it under the tree. However, it was pretty difficult to assemble requiring lots of tools the instructions did not recommend and lots of elbow grease. Also the door does not stay shut very well like some of the Little Tikes cars I have seen. I had to use some mommy skills to come up with something to make it work better. Overall we are satisfied with the product.

We got this for our 15 month old son for Chirstmas. He wakes up every morning and after nap and gets right in, closes the door and beeps the horn. He enjoys opening/closing the tail gate. The toys were a great touch. He places the tool box inside with him. I would recommend this toy over and over again. My son is a try boy through and through and loves his truck.

My 2 grandsons (1 & 2 yrs.) loved this ~ couldn't keep them out of it! I wish they would also make this exact truck with pedals like on a little bike (and of course, a steering wheel they would have to steer) maybe for kids a year or two older. Great gift!

This is a very nice little truck. My little man absolutely loves it. It was difficult to assemble and required the used of a power drill though. Things just wouldn't line up like they should but after it was complete and my son opened it up, it was all worth it. Adding the tools, carrier and hat are a really nice touch and I can't get my son to take off the hat. Little Tikes makes great toys and with this, they didn't dissapoint. My only recommendation is to Little Tikes...recheck your manufacturing process on this for it was NOT easy to put together. After reading previous reviews, we are not the only one's that struggled with assembly.

My 2 1/2 year old LOVES this. He received it today for Christmas and has spent most of the day in it. My 8 year old also has been in it. We got the gas pump with it and they have enjoyed putting gas in it, etc. The tailgate opens and closes and my little one got in it while the 8 year old drove him around. The little one didn't want to share it much. I can tell we are going to get a lot of enjoyment out of this one. We have had the Cozy Coupe car for our 8 year old. We bought that used and it is still going strong. We are very pleased with this pick up truck purchase. It also comes with tools and a hard hat!

We had to drill the hole for the gas cap bigger so that it would fit. The truck body is a little "off" and therefore the door will not stay shut. The screw holes for the grill were located in the wrong place and we had to drill new holes. And we aren't done assembling it yet. Thank goodness my husband suggested that we wrap presents last night or we be would up all night tonight (Christmas Eve) doing that PLUS correcting the problems with this pick-up truck. I am surprised as we were so pleased with our previous purchase of a "Cozy Coupe II." I might still purchase this truck as it is really cute but I am very disappointed in the fact that the door won't latch (and in the fact that is there is not a place for a key, a fact that my older child loves about his “Cozy Coupe” ) and my husband is NOT a “happy camper” with the modifications that were needed.

My son loves this truck, he stands in the back, crawls through the windows, pulls down the tailgate, plays with the toolbox, etc. I would say the main problem is the door doesn't shut snugly and the front wheels tend to get locked instead of rolling. Otherwise, great! Recommend!

This is a Christmas gift - so I can only comment on assembly. It took two of us (Grandparents) to put it together about 2 hours. Directions not clear but all parts and extra hardware was included (a big plus). We too had a problem with the gas tank entry. The added tool box was a nice addition. The drop down tail gate makes it realistic along with the dash board decals. Results are it rolls well. I think our GrandSon will have years of use from this gift.

My husband and I just put this together yesterday - a Christmas present purchased early so my son hasn't played with it yet so I can't judge stability, enjoyment, etc. But I will say we had one problem in assembly. The hole where the gas cap is supposed to pop in was way too small so we are going to have to use a file to make it big enough for it to fit. Also had to drill our own hole for the grill to line up straight. Other than that, I am very pleased with it and I think my son will love it.

The decals do not stay on - they keep falling off and we've lost two (the side mirrors). Would be nice to receive replacements for the decals.

I bought this truck for my 2 year old for this Christmas. It was easy to assemble except for the front grill which took some extra effort to line the screws up. Also, make sure that all of the plastic pieces are smooth and do not have sharp edges. There were a few sharp edges on the truck I purchased, but I was able to cut them down with a razor blade. Overall I would recommend this truck.

The truck is great! It is a little bigger than the car, which is great because my son (age 3) is a bit tall for his age. The only feature he misses from the car is the ignition key. Now that my daughter is 18 months old, she sits in the bed and he gives her rides around! He also likes loading up the back with things. One small quality detail is that the door does not shut well-you have to really push it. But other than that it has been a really great toy!

I bought this for my son's 2nd birthday. He loves cars and trucks and this present has been his favorite still 6 months after getting it. It is very durable and stands up well even in the AZ heat of the summer. He can move it around very easily. I would highly recommend this product.

Other than needing a foot rest shelf for younger children to put feet on to be pushed around this is a great investment. Have had some trouble with the kids fighting over it. They will play with it for hours and never get bored. Very sturdy.

Two boys ages 3 and 2 enjoy the truck very much, mostly outdoors. They bring it to a hill and fly down. We also have an original Little Tikes coupe so they usually race side by side.

Some body parts seemed a little warped so was a little difficult to assemble. Door was a little hard to open for smaller children, mostly due to a poor fit.

There are, I believe a couple, of sharp screws that protruded slightly through the roof so I had to cut them off to avoid injury to the children.

If only the door operated properly! the door piece is too big for the opening and difficult for a toddler to manage. An adult must open and shut door with force. He and his friends each were drawn to the toy, but quickly learned to make other choices to avoid frustration; it has gone from "last one picked" to "hasn't moved in 3 months. I should have bought the original car.

This is a classic truck, and my boys love it. However, the decals started falling off very quickly and cannot be reapplied. Ours has never been outside - it is 100% indoor use with 2 very small boys, but the truck has not held up well. Many of the small parts (key, gas cap, wheel caps) fall off and/or break and cannot be repaired. Little Tikes quality is just not what it used to be. My boys love this ride-in toy, but if there was anything else on the market, I would try it/recommend it first to others.

I was very very disappointed at having to order this toy. I could not find a dealer in town that would handle it for me. Why, in Montana would a toy store not want to carry a pick up truck? All girls and boys in Montana want a pickup truck when they are teens, and so would a 2 year old. That is what Daddy and Mommy drive!

We bought this for our son for his second birthday. He loved it. He is now 3 1/2 and still loves it. It was hard to assemble, but once we got it together it has been very durable!!! Our son likes to "crash" it. It has been through alot, but is still in good shape. I would recommend this to anyone with an all boy, boy!!!
