Our grandson LOVES this car. He was so excited when he saw it. We bought it for him for his 1st birthday. The only thing I would add to this is a "seatbelt" to keep them from slipping through to the floor. Needless to say he did and it scared him, but it sure didn't stop him from getting back in and having fun. All in all it's a really great little car and we know he will have LOTS of fun with it.

The PROs outweigh the CONs but one CON is of note: The "roof" pieces do not join together or to the body of the car easily but they fall apart easily. Two screws are provided to better connect the back pieces, but you would be well-advised to use four on the rest of the roof/car joints. Once done in this manner, you can rest assured it will not fall apart or on to your little tike.

Our granddaughter received this for her 1st birthday. She was immediately loving it and it certainly was a hit with her. Your box advises age 1-1/2 for this toy, but our year old 'cruiser' uses it for walking skills (walks behind it, next to it, etc). She hasn't figured out how to make it go forward, but is able to climb inside and push it backward. All in all, a great toy even for a 1 year old!

My daughter got this car for Christmas when she was 14 months. I thought she would have to grow a little before she would start playing with it (she wasn't even walking at the time), but she loved it from the start. Her cousin was also 14 months at Christmas, and would try to get in the car at the same time. I would definitely recommend the Cozy Coupe to anyone with a toddler.

While not terribly difficult to assemble, it did take a bit of time--plan ahead to do this. Right now our grandson is using it indoors as they wait for all the snow and ice to be off the driveway in St Paul. It was a present for his 2nd b'day, and he could not wait to get in it as his father put it together. It uses large motor skills and his imagination as he "honks and beeps" as he motors around. Perfect gift for several years of use, and then his little sister will use it!!

I am not yet a parent, but we are trying. i grew up with the cozy coupe original with gas station attachment. When i saw this at a kmart over the holidays it went right into our basket, after we checked out! (i didn't steal it, we went back and paid) :) just an increadible toy that generations of kids in my family have used. The original cozy coupe is still in kid worthy condition after 20 years with only the stickers missing, now garaged next to it is the cozy coupe 2. once i have grandchildren in the far future i expect to own a cozy coupe 3

We bought ours dirt cheap at a garage sale this summer. We bought it already assembled. The family had seen two children through with ours and my two crazy boys are now abusing i mean loving it. Actually, because after 4 months of play and this being the hottest item in the house we are getting at least one more.

Every time kids come over for parties, Bible Study group, or just for a bbq this is the toy everyone wants. And, keeps them entertained the whole night. Its a miracle toy.

If you get your kids or grandkids or nephews/neices nothing else get them this! Their parents will thank you. And, the children will never forget it!

This toy is probably the most economical fun you'll ever spend with your children. I had one for my children and this is for my grandson but to be passed on to the grandchildren yet to be. The hours of fun my children, I with my children, and friend/ family children that played with this car are beyond imagine. Not only did it survive my two children and friends; I ran a daycare for 3 years and this was a favorite for all the kids. It then got given to another family to enjoy.
I was thrilled to see it was still around but not surprised.

We gave this to our daughter for her 2nd birthday. She loves her car. We used to live in a house with carpet and it doesn't go very good on carpet, so she just mainly sat in it and got in and out of it, but recently we moved to a house with all tile floors and she loves it more now. It rides alot faster and smoother on tile floor. She rides it everyday all throughout the house. I would say it would be better for outside if you have carpet, but is great for inside if you have tile floors. The only problem we've had with it is the steering wheel came out, but it goes back in pretty easily.

I just baught the ride and rescue version of this care (identical except for some features) for my son. Its so cute and I can't wait to give it to him on his birthday. Everytime he sees a cozy coupe he basically has a panic attack because he wants to play with it so bad.
I searched around online at reviews of these cars. I often saw that people found the cars very hard to assemble, let me assure you THEY ARE NOT! I did it in a half an hour. If you can read and are patient (like you would be with your kid) you'd do fine. Its really simple. I almost didnt want to buy the car because so many people said its such a pain. What a bunch of...you know what.
We love our cozy coupe!!
The stickers are a little fickle but they are stickers, what do you expect? Nothing is ever going to be like it use to be! We still love the car!

Had to buy it - my granddaughter discovered it at daycare and we couldn't get her out of the car to come home. I LOVE that it runs on FOOT power. Great primary colors - gender neutral - a good deal!

This toy was purcahsed at a garage sale about 6 years ago. We've been using it ever since. It's a big hit with all the kids. They love putting their little toys in the spot in back and riding around. Very well made item and still looks new today with no fading at all.
