My son just turned 3...loves his tools! It has working parts and the bonus car is great. It keeps his interest for a suprising amount of time, although he's too young to use the tools properly. He likes when I show him what the tools can do and we pretend to make all kinds of things and fix cars! I'm guessing the bench will get good use over time...especially the tools!

We love this work bench. We looked at lots of different work benches, and we liked this one because they have incorporated lots of different ways for the kids to use the tools. They love taking the engine apart and removing the car's wheels. Lots of fun!

Our son loves working on things by himself and along side his dad. These tools enable him to participate while helping him develop fine motor skills. This toy is age appropriate for a variety of ages. Our son is 2yrs. and can operate a great deal of the tools, he can also grow into this and utilize more things when able.

Clever design for the flip over benchtop. The two year old really got into the shape sorted nuts and bolts, and the power tools. The laser simulation on the chop saw was a nice touch!

This is a great toy! My son is 3 and "fixes" everything! Has not quit figured out the "engine" but that will come later...when he needs more entertainment.
I would highly recommend this.

I just gave this to my son for his 3rd birthday. He loves it! He loves pounding the nails. He was shocked and thrilled when I showed him the engine on the reverse side. The car that he can remove the wheels is a real hit. My only disapointment so far is that it does not come with any "wood" to work on.

I am pretty sure they liked it, two year old twins, loved to hit the hammer as hard as they could on the bench, I was never worried of it breaking. I know the one kid liked the drill a lot and wouldn't go to bed without it. Hope it's not the flavor of the month with them, because I paid a lot for this thing. Maybe I'll go visit them soon to see if they still like it. If not Im'a take it from them and sell it on Eb*y

I bought this for a 2 year old who is mad about tools. I removed some of the smaller items as a precaution, and later received a warning on the screws. The child is in love with the wood bench and seems to drag the drill along on every adventure.

His 5 year old brother prefers the engine side, but is frustrated by the spark plug like parts, which pop off when the engine is turned.

My grandboys have the cozy coupe, the black truck, the climbing cube and the slide. I'm glad they can play with this toy inside.

My grandson loves his tool bench and the car was a plus. I would recommend to all. Wished it came with batteries, the drill didn't work (which CS mailed out another) and the Shop Light is very dim. All in All a great buy - he's 15 months old and fixing the car with his screw drivers. The hammering of nails is a plus also - saves on my daughters furniture!

My three year old loves to take things apart and put them back together as well as help Daddy out in the garage. This looked like the perfect birthday gift for him and it has been a hit. There doesn't seem to be anything quite like it on the market. He and his 5 year old brother are really enjoying it. We spent a lot on batteries, but it's worth it, so far!

I have been looking for a tool bench with alot of extras. I saw some at local toy stores for $70-$150 that do not have near what all comes with this one. This is a great toy. All the tools come with it.

we bought this item used and it only had two small things missing a hook and 1 of the bolts. but it held up to the last childs use very well. and my son hammers pretty hard and tips it over and it does well to his beatings.. and he has learn alot already in the 3weeks he has had it..he gets frusrated on the engine sometimes but still very interested on it. he likes to take the blower off the engine and carry it around w/ the screw drivers in it..i would suggest to buy some small stoage containers for all the nuts, bolts & nails that come with it..

Overall I think this toy is a great tool bench. The tools are realistic and sturdy and the the bench offers a lot of different activities. Compared to what else is on the market, I think this is one of the best workbenches out there. I bought it for my 2 year old son, he really enjoys it even though a few of things are too hard for him at this age.

This product was bought for my 3 1/2 yr. old grandson. I was so thrilled to find something specifically interesting to the technically/mechanically inclined. He told me at length about all the pieces & what he could do with them, but he couldn't use the "help light" because it needed some batteries they couldn't get. His dad confirmed all he had said, & verified that his son had tried the tools on various other things in the house. The surprise? His 5 yr old sister was fascinated with the carpenter's work bench, and told me all about it on the phone. I am confident I have sent them the favorite toy I've found in 5 yrs, & can hardly wait to see it myself. Wish I knew where to get the batteries.

Bought for 20 month old grandson. He loves all the tools. Grabs the screw driver and says "fix" "fix". His parents says this is his favorite toy. Well designed with solid worksmanship. Parents say it was quite a bit to put together. But certainly worth the extra work. This tool bench was designed for a little older child so his parents put away small parts for now.

We looked at a lot of tool benches, and, of the plastic variety, this seemed to be the most durable and interesting. I usually prefer wooden toys, but my youngest son loves to throw things! I also knew the hammer would find alternate surfaces to pound.

Santa brought this, and it was the favorite toy of the morning, even for my 5-year-old son. Since it has 2 sides (classic & aoutomotive repair), it provides a variety of opportunities for creative play.

I recommend buying the expanded set with all 3 power tools, or purchase them separately. The drill is a big hit.

Be prepared (we weren't): The tools and work light take different types of batteries. We still don't have one for the light.

My son spends hours playing with his workshop. He loves it all. I really like that the drill only runs when he is holding the button. Unfortunately, the grinder stays on and my son walks away. I wish it had a 30 second timer or something like that.

I couldn't wait to give this to our 18 mth old son on Christmas Morning!! We had it all set up and under the tree!!! Love the fact that it has the motor work shop since Daddy is a Ford Technician!! Santa left this present for my 3-yr-old son, and he absolutely loves it! He put the car together in about 15 minutes and has been looking for things to do with all of his tools ever since. He's been a "big help" to Dad, offering suggestions and the use of his tools for home projects. The only reason why I gave this 4 stars is that I wish Little Tikes would sell more projects for the tools and screws. There are only so many times you can take apart the car and do it again!

I purchased this workbench as a Christmas present for my Grandson (17 months) and it was a hit! He played with the tools and workbench all day. It was so realistic and sturdy that his Dad played with the engine side of the work table as well. This is one toy that my Grandson cannot tip over or tear apart. However, there is only one item I would change, the LED work light. It takes three small batteries that I did not have time to locate, so the light is not working at this time. But that's it! A very good choice.

My 19 month old son was thrilled when he opened this up for Christmas! He loves turning the tools on and off and he uses them correctly.. for the most part! Probably will get more use out of it when he's a bit older, but he still loves it now!

This work bench is cool. The tools are like the real ones. . It has a lot of stuff that comes with it.It was so easy to put together. I bought this for my 2 year old son. This workbench will grow with him since it's not so babyish. I can see him still playing with it when he's 8 years old.

The only problem I had was the poor packaging!!! My package came in all tore up and then all taped up over the holes!!! My fears eased up once I took everything out of box and realized it was all there and there was no damage!!

I have a 3yr old Grand-daughter and a 1yr old Grandson, and they both love it. Teaches great hand and eye coordination as well as giving them the feeling that they are doing something just like Daddy and Grandpa. The only thing I wish was a bit better is that the drill was a bit more powerful. But other than that, this is a great product.

Once the catalog came in my son immediately pointed out this toy to tell Santa about this year. We were VERY disappointed that the workshop with saws had been discontinued, but was glad to get the workshop by itself. It would make it easier if you guys sold the saws to. They are hard to find when you do not have a store that carries them in your area...

It's a great product I know my son is going to like except what I find strange is that it comes with all these screws/bolts that you can't use on the table anywhere, meaning yeah there is spots on the motor to use screws but when those holes are filled you still are left with a bunch of screws and nuts that are of no use cause there is no holes on the table to just screw in the screws unlike other workbenches where there is hole for the nails and then also holes for screws.

This toy is absolutely amazing. We gave it to my 2 yr old son for his birthday and he hasn't stopped playing with it since. It was very easy to assemble and is lightweight. My neighbors son even had a hard time leaving it behind! This is the best toy purchase I have made so far!!!!

We bought this for my son's 3rd birthday and he loves it. He pretends to build things and tells us that he's 'working' when he plays with it. He loves all the realistic features and thinks he has tools just like Daddy's. He uses the tool side of the bench more than the car engine side (it flips around), but he LOVES to use the tools to put together the little car it comes with. There are a lot of little pieces, but there are nice trays to store everything if it's not in it's place on the work bench.

We purchased for my 2 1/2 yr old grandson for Christmas last year. He absolutely loves it. Has never gotten tired of it. It is still in excellent shape and believe me he pounds hard on the screws with his hammer! My 1 yr old grandson loves the grinder. I have never purchased a product that has held up as good as this one.
