We wanted this kitchen for our son before the holidays but it was sold out. We debated going for another kitchen, but decided to wait it out and are happy we did.

It did take some time for one person to assemble, but our son's smile when he first saw it was worth it. He plays with it constantly and I know it will stand up to his wear and tear. Plus it looks good in our family room since it is wood and the colors are muted.

I waited and waited for this kitchen to get back in stock and it was so worth the wait! Both my kids (4) and (2) love it and they have not stopped playing with it since it arrived. Assembly took some time but I would rather have that problem over an easy to put together plastic flimsy kitchen. Everything about this product is great and so much nicer in person. We bought several wooden kitchen accessories to go with it! 5 stars all the way!!!!

I love that this is a wooden kitchen! I'm so sick of everything being plastic. Putting it together took longer than I would have liked, but it was worth it. This kitchen is very sturdy and durable and my kids love it! I just wish the stove burner was attached as it's my son's favorite thing to pull off. Little Tikes, please make more wooden toys!

This is the cutest play kitchen ever! It's the perfect size - not too small and flimsy looking and not too bulky where it takes up too much space. Every thing about the kitchen is so adorable. We assembled this for our 2 1/2 year-old granddaughter before Christmas. When she pulled the cover off of it on Christmas morning she shreiked and danced around like I have never seen. It is the greatest play kitchen EVER. Took a while to put together, but everything fit really well. All her little friends play with it and because there are so many elements, everyone has a good time. Mom made her some little towels to "wash". This kitchen is very attractive and my kids enjoy playing with it daily. While construction was not difficult, it was time consuming. I have some concerns about the durability of both the dishwasher and oven doors as they seem loosely attached (even though all screws are as tight as can be) and my 18 month old enjoys standing on them when open. Additionally, the washer/dryer door is rather cheaply constructed and doesn't really latch closed. As other reviewers reported, the magnets which keep the all the doors closed are very strong and my kids had to REALLY pull in order to open them. This was easily solved by putting small pieces of scotch tape on both magnetic surfaces on each door. They still close tightly, but are opened much more easily. Overall though, we are happy with it.

My husband and I bought this kitchen for our 3 and a half year old daughter. We assembled it on Christmas Eve. Although it did take a little over two hours to assemble, the instructions were very clear and the parts were easy to find. It is the perfect and has many realistic features. The only thing I do not like, (and its not that much of a big deal) is that the washer does not have any room for actual clothing.. Our daughter spends a lot of time enjoying her first kithchen!!!

I looked long & hard for a non-plastic kitchen for my 3.5 yr daughter. I like this one because it has a wood-tone, is compact & has everything my kitchen has. My only 2 complaints are assembly - it took my very handy hubbie 5 hrs to put together - and design - the oven & dishwasher door should have a hinge that keeps the door from slamming on the floor.

Great playset, really good assembly instructions, just take your time and don't skip a step. The covers for the screw containers are labeled, so no guessing which screw is what number. Considering myself very handy, it still took a couple hours to lay out all the pieces and put it together perfectly (of course it was Christmas Eve after midnight). Our 2 year old popped the door off the washer first time opening it, but it snapped back on with no breaks so it was probably a good design for it, hasn't come off since. I was a little worried about the idea of a wooden set, but this thing is beefy and very solid. The small shelves in the fridge and under the oven worked great for storage, we bought some small plastic tubs to keep the tons of small plastic food and dishes the Grandparents bought to go with it organized and neat looking. Very glad we got the wooden set over the other plastic models.

We love this kitchen! After looking at many different kitchens we chose this one and are not disappointed. I read many different opinions about the assembly and just had to see for myself. When I opened the box there were many, many pieces, however I found the directions to be great. It took me 6 hours to put it together but it was not difficult, just time consuming. You can do it! This kitchen is worth the time put into it. My 17 month old plays with it all the time. It is attractive, real to life and has many different doors and knobs to entertain the little ones. Buy this kitchen, you won't be disappointed.

I thought my husband would hate putting this together...it did take about 2.5 hours but he said it went smoothly and the directions were easy to follow. My 3 year old daughter and 14 month old son love to play together here. There are many activities with the kitchen so multiple children can play at once. The colors are subdued and integrate nicely with most any color scheme. The faux granite counter top is a nice touch! It seems durable and is surprisingly compact once assembled.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 20 month old daughter after months & months of researching & shopping for a play kitchen. I looked at every one out there & while I had originally decided on another kitchen, I literally stumbled upon this one just as I was down to my self-imposed purchase deadline. And I am so happy that I did, as she LOVES this kitchen & it is the perfect size/has the perfect accessories for a child her age to use & grow into. At approx. 33" tall (shorter side for her age), she can easily reach most handles & components, although she does have to stretch to reach the microwave door & phone, & obviously can not yet reach the top shelf. She does have a harder time with the magnets on both the microwave & fridge doors, but this hasn't stopped her from trying to open them! She easily opens the dishwasher, oven, washing machine & side doors. She most enjoys opening/closing the doors, answering/hanging up the phone, putting the accessories on & off the "backsplash" hooks, & cooking on the stovetop. I was slightly worried about the quality of the accessories, but have been pleased with them as I think they are perfect for such a young child & have actually put away other accessories I have bought until she is older. The compact size is ideal - the kitchen itself is about 39" wide, with the ironing board extending an additional 6" to the full width of 45" as listed. She does not yet show too much interest in the iron/board, but my husband claims it's because she's never seen one :) Best of all, I love the colorful, realistic look & durability of the wood. This doesn't feel flimsy or look cheesy. The wood looks much nicer than I had anticipated. As for assembly, my husband did it all -- it did take him a good 4 hours, but he said it wasn't difficult, just tedious. He noted that all the parts were clearly marked & as long as you followed the instructions, it went smoothly.

We purchased two of these kitchens, one for our twins and one for a friend's child. Although the assembly was time consuming, it was otherwise easy. The instructions are detailed and easy to understand, everything is well marked, even the screws and dowels are in a nicely labeled tray. Once it was put together all three kids loved opening and closing the doors and turning the dials. The microwave door was a little hard to open, but a piece of masking tape on the magnet fixed that easily. Great for boys and girls. Would recommend this to anyone!!!

We bought this kitchen for my daughter's second birthday. After reading other reviews I was careful to allow enough time for assembly before the big day. My husband and his brother- an engineer and a builder- both struggled a bit to put this together. It was time consuming and challenging but well worth it! We love the colors. My daughter loves her kitchen. There is plenty of storage for easy clean up. The clicking knobs are fun! It is smaller than I pictured and fits perfectly in our little playroom. IT seems very durable. We love it!

It will take approximately 2hrs to put together, but I wasn't exactly rushing.

My recommendations for future versions is to add interactive buttons (that beep and can be pushed) to the microwave, oven, dishwasher, and washing machine for more realistic play. The washing machine is too small, and could be made larger without compromising the dimensions of the kitchenette.

Otherwise the kitchenette is a great toy!

I was surprised at the wood quality. I was expecting "wood" to mean that flimsy cardboard type balsa wood product, but this was really great quality wood! Very firm, very good construction. Just know that with good construction comes at least 2-3 hours of assembly! But it is worth it, this has a lot of bells and whistles that the kids love, and the colors are nice. It's not too obnoxiously big and not too small, it's just right. Highly impressed.

The kitchen is cute and my 2-year-old daughter loves it. She has lots of fun pretend playing with it. My only complaint is that two pieces were missing when it arrived so we were not able to fully assemble it and had to wait an extra week to receive the missing pieces. I looked at A LOT of kitchens before I decided on this one for my girls (1 1/2 & 3) for Christmas. Yes, it took my husband & I over 2 hours to assemble (we started at 10:30 p.m. on Xmas eve), but everything was labeled extemely well. We only had one hole that did not line up correctly, but it didn't impact the outcome. My girls and almost 8 year old son absolutely love it. The look on their faces on Christmas morning made the assembly so worth it.

I read all the reviews so I was prepared for a difficult assembly, however I found it to be quite a pleasant experience. First, I ordered it well before I needed it. I counted all the parts when it arrived per other reviews. About a month before my daughter's birthday, I put it together. I did it by myself but in several sittings. It may have taken 3 hours total but it was easy to put together. I've assembled plastic Little Tikes and Step2 toys and this was a piece of cake compared to those.

I agree that it is small but it is very attractive and includes so many aspects of a real kitchen. The kitchen is extremely sturdy.

Another point I agree on is that it is too expensive. Although it is the nicest kitchen I've seen, no toy kitchen is worth $200+. That being said, I did pay it so I guess the demand is there.

Final point: Don't let reviews about assembly dissuade you from purchasing. It really was not difficult at all.

We purchased the kitchen for our grandson's third birthday. He loves it. The assembly was not as difficult as we anticipated from reading reviews. It was time consuming, 2 1/2 hours, but all the parts were labeled and all the screws were separated and labeled. However, the "timer" on the washer/drier broke within an hour of him opening it on his birthday. It is impossible to reach it for replacement.

If you like puzzles this is the kitchen for you. I am very handy and have put in my own kitchen shelves. this little thing took longer!! It took 6 man hours to put it together.Some of the pannels have 14 screws and a lot of them need an extra short screwdrive. My electric screwdriver was to big for most of the spots. I think it is worth it IF you have the time.

My 20-month-old son loves this kitchen! The only thing I don't like about it is that the door of the washer/dryer comes off easily. Also, the hooks on the outer wall are kind of small and can't even hold his apron (sold separately). I really love the cabinet with the sliding, rounded doors.

assets: made of wood instead of plastic, easy on the eyes, and includes the most appliances (fridge, stove, microwave, washer, dryer, iron, and ironing board area). my son plays with this nonstop - by himself (in imaginary play) and with us (serving us pretend food or doing our laundry). i could not be happier with this purchase. it took a long time to put together but it wasnt difficult. I spent way too much time searching (online and in stores)for the perfect toy kitchen...hours and hours. painful. this was the last one i found and now i feel like the time was well worth it. this seems to be the best for the price (and even better than many higher priced kitchens).

i cannot attest to it's longtime durability as we have only had it one month so far but based on what it looks and feels like, i dont expect any problems.

I love that this kitchen is of wood construction. It is great looking. Assembly took my husband about 5 hours so plan to take your time! My 3 year old plays with it a bit more than my 1 1/2 yr old. Gave this to the girls for Christmas and they were thrilled! They have lots of accessories including little aprons and chefs' hats. They love to pretend that they are the mommies and I am their baby and they cook me all sorts of wonderful things. The appearance is just outstanding and can fit in their playroom or in our living room. Everyone comments on how attractive it is. The little extras like the clock, phone and chalkboard are cute too. We loved that it included the laundry center, but wondered if they'd know what to do with the iron as they rarely see mine make an appearance. Fortunately they knew exactly what to do.

True to other reviews, it is a bit small, but we expected that. It took my husband 6 hours of solid work to assemble. There was a mix-up and we only received large handles and were short a small handle for the microwave. We called customer service and she said that since we ordered thru the Little Tikes web site, they would be able to send the handle out right away, which they did.

We'll have to see as far as durability. The washing machine door has popped off a few times and the knob seems to work only some of the time.

Overall we would heartily recommend this and recommend purchasing through Little Tikes just for the peace of mind knowing that any issues that arise would be more easily taken care of.

OH MY GOSH! This kitchen is THE BEST!!! As I assmbled it in the wee hours on Christmas Eve, I got so excited anticipating how my children would react and I was not disappointed. There are so many wonderful things to say about this kitchen! The colors are so inviting, the doors are so fun, we LOVE that there are NOT a lot of computerized sounds (invites imaginations to soar!), the whole set-up is so clever.....I wish I had one when I was little! This kitchen is perfect for a 2-5 year old. It is small and compact, but it has EVERYTHING that a little girl could want. It is durable and easy (but time consuming) to assemble. While assembling it, we thought that they forgot to enclose the knobs. We later found them in a pot that comes with it. Glad we found them -- silly place to put them! My daughter and her 2 (ages 2.5, 3 & 3.5) cousins played together on it on Christmas day with no problems! I would recommend this kitchen to anyone! We love it!

The parts and assembly were overwhelming. I worked solo and with another and it took 9 hrs. to assemble. Perfect directions and all pieces fit perfectly, but because it is so sturdy the screws and hinges and extra everthing took forever. Not a "night before Christmas" assembly to be sure. Surely more could be shipped assembled. It is adorable and glad we bought it and started early to get it ready because it was an endurance contest. Happily, the grandkids love it and that made the effort worthwhile.

This kitchen is fantastic looking and it has a ton of features. Our 3 1/2 year old son loves this. There is a lot of play that can be done within this nicely sized unit. One reviewer said it was small...I compared the dimensions to many kitchens out there and this is similarly sized. Plus it has a washer and iron with ironing board which is made possible by stacking it under the fridge. There is some storage space for the props when not in use. Did I mention how nice it looks? I would have given it 5 stars but for the assembly. It took my husband 3 1/2 hours to assemble and this is with a Masters in Engineering. There are 20 different types of screws. Easy isn't the word he used to describe it. You definitely will need some level of mechanical inclination, but my assessment is that it's worth it. All and all, excellent quality. And did I mention how cute it is?

We bought this kitchen for our 2 year old daughter for Christmas and she LOVES it. Hasn't stopped playing with it since she woke up. It was easy to assemble as it was very well laid out, look at the packages of the screws etc as the numbers are on there but hard to see. It did take a while took over 3 hours but worth it. Very nice and good quality. We did however get a broken handle so the microwave is missing a handle but hopefully that will be fixed as I sent an email to hopefully get a replacement. Great kitchen and I highly recommend it!

This was bought for our 5 and 2 year old boys and they haven't stopped playing with it. Assembly was relatively easy once you find all the parts, about 2 hours. It's a little smaller than we expected and even though it's a very sturdy piece it seems kind of wobbly because of a very small base.

My parents bought this kitchen for my 2 year old daughter for the holidays. We put it together early thinking it might be difficult to assemble. Although it is a time consuming process the directions were right on. Pay attention to the numbers on the box of screws, we missed the numbers and were guessing which ones to use. Otherwise this kitchen is adorable and suited for a 2 year old. The refrigerator is high up but is reachable. The dishwasher and oven doors can be hard to open but not impossible. I love that it is wood, it is definitely worth the money as we really researched kitchens before we bought it.

I just finished putting this together last night. It was very EASY. The only thing I wish they could have done better was label the hardware. I got some of the screws mixed up but overall it was great. I love that the hardware came seperated already and all of the wooden pieces were labeled. Make sure to take EVERYTHING out of the box first though because they hide two pieces underneath the last piece of styrofoam!!

Kitchen is super cute. But SMALL! Looks alot bigger on website. I was disappointed in the size once it was finally set up. It took almost 3 hrs to set it up. The washer/dryer is SUPER SMALL. My son can put 1 maybe 2 washcloths in it. NO WAY more than 2 children can play with it at once. My son and friend play but fight over the room. It has lots of cute and creative things about it. But the size for the price is whats bad. Also the magnet on the microwave is really hard for them to open. I would recommend if your not looking for something big or something for more than 2 children. I suggest 1 child. I now wish I would have went with the other I was going to go with.

I wish this had been available for my first grandchild! Allow yourself time to assemble, as it takes quite a bit of time. It is so durable and fits together so well. I am so impressed, and I know my granddaughter will love it.

This took several hours to assemble. It's not as sturdy as I thought it would be but the design is good. I like that it isn't a cutesy kitchen. Boys play on this just as much as the girls. Overall, it's a little pricey but was a good addition to our play toys.

I really wanted this kitchen because it's wood. I figured it would hold up better. My husband is an engineer who designs & builds things. It took him 2 hours to assemble what seemed like hundreds of pieces. He said the directions were very good but just be aware that it takes a long time to assemble if the directions make sense to you. My daughter stepped on one of the shelves while it was in place & it broke so apparently it's not as durable as I had hoped. It's fairly small so keep that in mind if you plan on having more than one child play w/ it at the same time. My 3 year old twins are fighting over where to stand. I was disappointed at how small it is. The website makes it seem so much bigger. It's perfect for one child. There aren't many sounds other than a few knobs that make noise when you turn them. The phone only has sticker numbers so nothing to press or make noise. The microwave is hard for my 3 year olds to open because it has the magnetic strip to open & close. They really have to pull hard. I'm already thinking I should've got something different. It's very expensive for what you get.

My three year old and one and half year old both play in the kitchen. It is perfect for both ages. They even get along some of the time! :) It is very durable and well construted. WARNING: It took my husband 3 hours to put together!!! We love it and it was worth the effort to put it together.

I love this kitchen. It is big enough for three kids to play and has beautiful colors. It matches my sons room perfectly. It is not those tacky bright primary colors or the huge blown plastic pieces. It is heavy duty and was really suprised at the thickness and duribility of which it was made. It is not that thin cheesy wood.

Great product. My son loves the washer and ironing board.

Love the all-in-one concept and the colors enable boys to play without feeling like it is girly. Wood never stays as new looking in my house as Tikes plastic toys. We are HARD on toys. This is quality verses other brands which I have sold.
