my parents got this for my son for his 2nd birthday. he loved it at first but he kept getting upset because he could not hold it left handed. other then that i love it.

My Daughter will be 3 in May and loves her guitar! I think its the best one on the market. My only complaint is the poor sound quality but it is still worth the purchase. The pro's outweigh the con!

My son received this for X-mas and plays with it daily. I like that the supplemental cords match the tunes it plays. Only wish there were more options to play it on it's own w/out the programmed songs. It's definitely a winner though - your child will love it - all the kids in the extended family wanted to take turns playing it on X-mas when he first opened it.

We bought this for our son's 1st birthday. He loved watching Daddy play guitar hero and always wanted to play with the guitar, so we got him this. He hasn't put it down, it's currently his favorite toy and it's our favorite too. The music is bearable (lol) and Daddy has fun playing with it too. We're going to look into the drums and keyboard for xmas.

My grand daughter loves this guitar from the time I picked it up in the store until she finally went to sleep she kept playing this guitar. I enjoy the different songs that are already loaded and the fact that she can still strum the guitar in addition to hearing the loaded songs. Even I was having fun strumming this guitar while she danced to the music.

Both of my kids just love this guitar. It's easy to use, plays songs that everyone knows, and provides lots of entertainment! Only downside is that there is no volume control! Oh well...they love it anyway!

Both 1 and 3 year old love this! Can press a button or strum the strings and get sound. THe music are somgs I know as a mom, instead of more annoying kids music! Volume is a nice feature, not too soft or too loud. A great guitar!!

My son slept w/it the 1st few days. He absolutely loves this toy. A friend recieved the guitar as a birthday gift, and he would not let his friend play with it w/out a huge ordeal. So he got for his bday and continues to play w/it.

My son who is now 23 months old still plays with this guitar! We bought it for him last summer when he was around 15 months old or so. He loves music period and out of all the ones we saw int the store, this was the best. I still don't think he knows how to turn the knob to make it come on, that is the only con. He loves and we love it!

I saw this on television and loved it. My son is two and when he saw it in the store he fell in love with it. He played it all through the store, dancing up and down the aisles. Once we got home he couldn't put it down. Great songs, bright colors, great sound quality, nice volume control. The only thing I wish it had was a strap so that he could wear it while he plays. Overall it's a great toy.

My 23 mo old recieved this as a early Christmas gift and we all love it! Its not annoying like some toddler toys are because it plays songs that I remember from when I was growing up. And as a previous poster stated, his older brother love guitar hero as well so they are both happy! And I think it is perfect size. he is able to carry it around and "play" it easily. If it were any bigger I think it mind end up too heavy and cumbersome to play with

WOW...We just got this for our 2 year old son and he has not put it down. He LOVES it!!! He used to steal our older son's guitar controller. Now he has his own that he can rock out on. He will not share it or let anyone else touch it. I love that the strings actually make noise happen...not to mention how cool the whammy bar is. I think I may have a little Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton or Joe Perry on my hands.

Purchased this for my nephew for Christmas. I can't wait to see how he likes it but I love it. Sound quality was so much better than I had expected. He loves music and dances like a madman (He's 20 months old), so I hope he loves this toy.

I had bought this for my 4yr old, when it came to the house it had 2yr old recommendation which is not what it is listed on the site, he gave it directly to the baby (19mths) who did play with it. I would recommend looking at it at the store before buying it is small for younger kids I think 2yrs is really pushing it though, so anyone younger a good buy but not older.

Music has been a big deal in our home for years. I have been a guitarist for 32 years now so to say we love music in our household is an understatement.
I have two girls in college who never really became that interested in playing an instrument and sadly I never pushed it enough. My wife and I decided to have one more child (insane in our 40's I know) and my 9 month old daughter just loves this guitar.
There is nothing complicated about it and she really likes to pull and hit the strings and push the buttons. She prefers dad's guitars more so, however; there just to big for her right now and I can't let her loose with one. The guitar also has some classic tunes on it which was nice. Even though the toy is designated for 2+ years, my 9 month old handles it with ease. Sturdy, durable, a must buy for anyone wanting to immerse their children in music.

My 2 1/2 year old son has always been very into music. He runs to grab his toy guitar or sit at his piano whenever there's music on TV. We love this one because he can actually play the strings, and it's definitely a nice change from the kiddie songs we're so very used to. We've had it for a couple of months and he plays with it everyday. Would highly recommend this for any other little rockers out there.

My husband and I didn't plan to buy this guitar, we were just looking some toys, and when we saw it, my husband just fell in love with the toy, we like it because it plays like a real one, you can pull the strings and sounds with the rythm of the cool songs it has, i really recommend this if your baby enjoys music, like my one year old girl.

Bought it for my 1 yr old's birthday (he's a big music fan) and not only did he LOVE it, but 3.5 year old big brother and 40 year old dad couldn't get enough of it! A big, big hit in the house. The only down side is the lower volume is still quite loud (especially if you live in a small house with hardwood floors), but definitely worth it! Finally a musical toy that plays REAL music that both the kids and the parents can enjoy!!!!
