Screws stripped out before we could even turn the camera on. We can't get to the battery compartment to insert batteries. A complete waste of money. And being a Christmas gift the packaging was thrown out before we realized the screws to the battery compartment were stripped.

I got this camera for my daughter who is almost 3 and she loves it! I was pretty impressed with the photos considering it's a little cheap kid camera and it's so easy to download the images on the computer. I just downloaded her first set of images and couldn't believe what a great job she did considering I just put the camera in her hand and showed her where the button was to take a photo. Its really easy to delete the photos which is good since out of the couple hundred she snaps in a few days only about 75 are worth uploading so I go through and delete the bad ones first. Overall great camera for little kids.

I think the idea is good, but more investment by the company to produce a better quality product is needed. Oh yeah--and maybe state the megapixels on the package so we know what we are buying?? A Christmas gift to my 4 yr old daughter, who has taken very good pics with my cheap $90 camera, was dissapointed to see the low quality of the pics she took today (60 + pics). Memories are blurry of your childhood, but this is ridiculous. The USB makes it easy to transfer pics to the computer, but the spring loaded port is a pain when trying to plug the cord into the camera. I agree with most other parents that the button in the front is a bit too far for most young children to reach. Make the button more accessible and improve the pic quality, even enlarge the view screen (lots of room on back to do this), then you'd have a decent product for kids to really use and enjoy...after all, it's all about 'encouraging', not discouraging, kids to improve themselves. My advice to other consumers out there -- Leave it on the shelf and give your kids a cheap 'real' camera to learn with...you'll be glad you did.

My 5 yr old was always using our camera so when we saw this one we thought it would be great. We have had it for 4 monthe & the on/off button is broken. I recommend you hold on to your receipt for the warrenty cause you will need it.

This product is GREAT! We bought the camera for a Valentine's gift for our 2 daughters. Jayme (5) and Jessica (2). They each have one. They LOVE it! Sure it will drain batteries ALL digital cameras do. It is pink and purple it is not made for a photographer it is made for a little girl. Any little girl I know would love to have one. My kids do not have any problems using this camera and I prefer they use this one rather than mine.

I would recommend getting a real,cheap digital camera instead of this camera. The pictures are very poor quality. Plus it is hard for our little one to reach the button in the front to take a picture in the first place.

Once we bought AAA batteries (not included!) my 2 1/2 year old daughter loved playing with the camera. Playing with, not actually able to take photos! The shutter button is too far in front, unable to reach with her hands. The most frustrating feature is that you have to wait a couple of seconds once the shutter is pressed, still holding down the button, until it beeps again. What 3 y. old can actually do this AND keep the camera still? Our shots came out blurry or of the floor/wall, etc. Now, I know my daughter is a little young, so I have been using it too. She won't hold still long enough for the camera to take the picture! Even when an adult uses the camera, pictures are blurry! Oh, and the display isn't great either, but I think that is normal for these kid-cameras.
I would definitely NOT recommend this camera. Not sure why some other posters loved it. We'll probably buy another brand.

I was very disappointed with the quality of the picture on the screen. The color is poor, as well as the clarity. By the time the picture actually takes, the object has already moved. It takes too long to "snap" the picture. It's very easy to download the pictures to a computer. The design/color is great! It's easy to delete unwanted pictures. I definately would not recommend this camera.

My son loves his camera and asks for it often however even with a new computer system the USB isn't recognized so we can't make that special photo album of his first pictures. Pretty disappointed but the kid loves it. So it's not a total loss I guess.

I agree with some of the other comments that the shutter button on the front is hard to find. Also it seems to take a while for the camera to take the picture, by which time the subject has probably moved! I bought this as a christmas present for my daughter, who is 6. I find it unlikely that a 3 or 4 year old would be able to manage this camera. I had no problems downloading the pictures onto my computer.

I bought this for my daughter because she knows how with supervision to use mine and my wife's $400 camera and we wanted her to have something of her own. She had seen this in the store and liked the color, so we got it for her at Christmas. She was excited and has not put it done.
Great product for the price; I would buy it again, and would recommend this to anyone.
I did do alot of research and for the money I though for what it is, a starter to give responsiblity and show responsibility it was in my opinion the best.

Bring a screwdriver with you to the zoo!!! The battery connection is not reliable at all. Unit will shut down regularly. Have to loosen cover and retighten during sessions.

I was very disappointed with the extremely low quality of the pictures. It is almost impossible to get a clear picture with this device. Glad I didn't pay full price for the 2 that I bought for both my children. Although they enjoy plating with it for now.

I loved the idea of this camera because my daughter is obsessed with our real camera, but the screen is such poor quality,you can't see what you are taking a picture of and the button to push when you want to snap a picture is on the front of the camera, her little hands can't reach it while she's looking at the screen.

Very impressed with the camera, we purchase this for our 3yr old. We were surprised how kid friendly it was. Pictures are clear, even after it's been dropped several time's and it's still good as new. Great investment!

My daughter received the camera as a birthday gift, and she just loves it. It's very easy to use and durable. My daughter take takes this camera everywhere, we have lot's and lot's of pictures. Great fun!

We got this camera as a gift and my daughter really liked it, she carries it around and really likes to take pictures of everything!!!! The only down side is that shutter botton is not easy to to find because it's at the front of the camara, We did not have any problems downloading and the pictures were good, a little down in quality but good enough. It's a good way to free the little artist in your child

This was a great idea, however in six months we still haven't been able to work the camera. My daughter was so excited to get her "pink crama" for her third birthday. The battery connection is horrible so the camera just shuts off and the USB cable provided isn't recognized by my computer. In the six months of having this she's taken a total of 21 pictures!!! [...]
