i'm so glad they are coming back out with all those wonderful classic items my kids played with. i sold them when they got big (parents don't sell them, save for grandchildren) and now i'm buying them for my grandchildren.

I bought this for my grandson because his Mom had a set of these when she was his age. I had saved them and pulled them out for him when he was old enough. I went online to find them because he loved them so much and I wanted him to have a lot of them. We play with them every week when he comes to visit.
We absolutely love them!!!!!!

They say the simple toys are the best: One of the day schools our son went to had theses.He loved playing with them, so my wife started looking for them but couldn't find them until she saw them on line. These waffle blocks keep my nieces and nephews entertained. I bought them for my daughter when she was 2, she is now 20. They clean easily and are very durable, my family can't believe i have kept them for 18 yrs. My 8 month old granddaughter will use them as soon as she is old enough to really enjoy them.

I started collecting these blocks in 1985 when my first child was two.We have at least 4 sets of each ot the about 10 or more sets they made back then. We spent hours building towns and even built a disney world display after our trip there. I can't wait to have grandkids so that We can do it all over again. I'm glad ot see them back.

These blocks seem to be virtually indestructible! My 2 year old grandson loved them at the babysitter's, so we purchased one tub for Christmas 2009. You can build up from the lid, make roads, bridges, boxes, towers, or just link them together. Vivid primary colors with tight connections. My 6 year old grandson enjoyed joining in and the 9 month old baby was drawn to the colors (great washable teethers)! Would also work while traveling with the storage tub. Reasonably priced for the quality.

I like playing with these, but I have 3 young children and the oldest at 4yrs has trouble fitting them together. They like when I build cubes so they can stand in them. Otherwise, it's kinda boring. I think if they were older that would help but we could've lived without them!

I am a daycare provider I purchased 2 sets of the blocks.. I purchased a lot of toys and the blocks are their favorite thing to play with great for all ages... You need to purchase more than one you do not get a lot in a box.

I purchase these 18 years ago and still going strong. All 3 of my children and nephew now great nephews and nieces are playing with them. They are easy to wash and dry. The kids love to stack, build around them and making things. Well worth the money. I am looking to buy more.

I love the waffle blocks from Little Tikes. They are very bright, colorful and durable. I have discovered, however, that other than making boxes, my children do not use these very creatively. I wish I had purchased more, because there really is only enough in the set to entertain 1 or possibly 2 children at a time. Definitely not the 4 I have in my home daycare.

The box should contain more than 36 blocks even if that raises the cost. In the set I have from when my children were small, it is almost impossible to put all the blocks back into the container. This container is only half full. I had to buy two sets to make it a nice gift!

My two girls love these toys. We have been searching every store for them until i decided to look on a piece to see who made them. i came to your store, online, and put them on our wish list. I love these because they keep my girls entertained and they can build all kinds of buildings with them. Including doll houses. We bought enough to build a huge one! The only thing that I would suggest is making a package for me to buy that includes odd pieces, like corner piecies for the roof, and maybe a long flat piece for the floor. I love the windows. Also Maybe somthing like a door would be nice too.

I'm getting this for my grandson, 4,for Christmas this year. My youngest son used to build towns when he was 3 until about 5th grade. I bought him every set I found. He had bridges, trees,parking areas, etc. Now he is a junior in college studying to be an architech. Maybe my grandson will build bridges. Who knows.
The colors never faded, they never broke, and were in excellent shape when I donated them to the elementary school years later.

I would recommend this product to anyone.

Use with people and animals for open-ended, creative play. Added wheels would be perfect(like the 8" sets had).
I had all sizes, 4, 8, and 14 inch.
This size even 2 year olds can do alone. Perfect. Good colors. Neutral gender.
