Friends of mine had this dollhouse (the pink/blue version) and it's so great I bought it for my 2 year old niece. She loves crawling in the first and second stories of the house (and you thought it was for dolls - HA!) and I don't worry that she's going to break it or get hurt due to the durable, heavy-duty plastic. The only issue you may encounter with this purchase is WHERE to put such a large dollhouse. Recommend 100%...ENJOY! :) BONUS FEATURE: huge dollhouse box keeps kids entertained for the quick 30 min. This is a heavy duty dollhouse. Can withstand climbing children and who knows what else. My daughter is 1 year old and will be able to use this with barbies when she is older because it is plenty tall enough. However it is hard to find a place to keep it because it is SO big. She crawled through the front door..its that big.

My five year old loves it... The dimensions allow for use with Barbie dolls and furniture, or for smaller dolls like Groovy Girl minis. It was an easy assembly - even for someone who is not so handy with tools. Only real drawback is that it cannot be stored away very easily... But we plan on it being a fixture in our home for years.

This is a great dollhouse! It is quite large, so be sure you have room! The only real downfall is the lack of doll furniture. It has been a bit costly to purchase all of that seperately. My daughter loves it and plays with it often!

Super great dollhouse, my 2 year old granddaughter loves it. The only problem is it is hard to find dolls other than Barbie to go in it. Barbie is fine for an older girl but not for a 2 year old.

We had a little difficulty getting the pieces to fit together correctly; I had to sit on top of it to get them to snap all the way together. Like many other reviewers, I am disappointed that Little Tikes does not make the furniture anymore, but Barbie has happily moved in (with her furniture) and is now sharing this house with a gigantic My Little Pony. Overall, we are happy with this toy and our daughter loves it.

We purchased this for our daughter a couple of months ago. Its quite large, tall and wide so you need room for it. Its very durable and can withstand use and abuse from kids. However, its more of an "open space" doll house than one with rooms, but has 2 floors. It did not come with any furniture so you will have to purchase that. Its a good size for barbies, which is why we purchased it.

I bought this house for my daughter to play with her dolls. She is playing with Barbies, but her younger brothers like to put the American Girl dolls in. It is the proper scale for Barbies, and leaves lots if room for play. It's enormous, make sure you have available floor space, and warning...my 5yo son can squeeze through the front door, so be prepared for some monkeying around. Thankfully this dollhouse is sturdy enough to accommodate her many brothers! Highly recommended.

Our 3 1/2 year old girl loves this! She plays with it everyday! It is huge enough for her to fit inside. Her big sister gave her old Barbie collection and with baby dolls added, it really is non-stop fun. It was an awesome surprise from Santa on Christmas morning. Extremely sturdy, think plastic walls that would be great outside as well.

This was the best deal for the price. Although it is larger than i imagined. My 3.5 yr old can climb on top of it and my two year old climbs on the shelf so it is def bigger than a standard dollhouse. But def sturdy and holds plenty of dollhouse things inside. Large enough also that more than one child can play at one time.

Barbie furniture and Barbie dolls fit perfectly in this dollhouse. The dollhouse is much more sturdy and durable than the Barbie dollhouses. It is easier to put together too. We did not use the included screws so that we can easily unsnap the pieces and take it apart to move it or store it if necessary. We have not had any problems with it staying together, even with it just snapped together. My 4 year old daughter loves it. You do have to purchase the furniture for it though. When it was empty, she just wanted to climb in it and on it.

We ordered this house about two weeks before Christmas and got an awesome deal. I was so excited to save so much on this thing or I probably would not have gotten it. [...] I knew it was going to be a good size. Trying to put it together was fairly easy but your arms can hurt after a while because you have to punch the wholes with the screw driver and reach and push to screw the screw in. You have to try to keep he windows aligned to get the screw in the right spot which got my arms hurting because there was like almost 20 screws for the windows. But honestly I think it was worth the 45 min arm pain. The house is taller than my 4 year old. I bought the Barbie dream house furniture for this house and it works out great! The size of this house is great. My Daughter loves it! I love how it feels so sturdy to. I miss products like this.

Love it! I wish furniture was available. We found some various pieces meant for barbies etc and have pieced them together so we have just enough accessories to keep her imagination going. This house is STRONG - she is a climber and has been on top of the house with friends already... While that is not encouraged of course, it is good to know that this house can keep up with her. I was scared she would break some of the pressed board houses I had seen. My daughter's best friend has the fisher price house, and she cries to her mom that she wants this little tikes one. It is SO adorable. Love it. It has already housed barbies, littlest pet shop animals, dolls, brother's superheros, and we have only had it a month. Definitely the hit of Christmas around here.

This was a Christmas gift for my 4 yr.old. It is very large and very sturdy. My daughter plays with it with her 6 yr. old sister they have a great time. We have purchased a few Barbie furniture pieces, really wish there were Little Tikes items so that they would match. The only problem I can find is where am I going to store this thing. They play with it daily so I am just making it part of my decor. I would definitely recommend this to others. Got a great deal on it, it was around $40.

This doll house took a long time to assemble because each window has about three screws in it. My husband spent a couple of hours on it. My children really like it and tend to climb inside of it (my 2 and 4 year olds. So far it has been a durable item.

I love this dollhouse! My kids pretty much destroy everything and it is still in perfect shape 3 months later. The same can definitely not be said for the other "fashion doll" houses we have purchased before. Also one thing I really liked was the lack for decoration. My girls can use this for their Littlest Pet Shop toys and other things. I like that they are not locked into one thing. Highly reccommend.

We purchased this as a Christmas present for my 20 month old, so she has not played with it yet. It was very easy to assemble and looks very sturdy. It is my understanding that you can buy Barbie furniture for it, but I would have liked to purchase LT furniture if it was still made since my daughter is little and Barbie furniture has lots of little pieces. We got this on the Little Tikes website sale. If we had paid full price for it, then I would have to say it is not a good deal, but for what we paid for it this is a very good deal.

I bought this for my granddaughter's 2nd birthday.
I was pleasantly surprised to see how big this dollhouse really is. My granddaughter will be playing with it for many years.
I babysit everyday, so I keep the dollhouse at my home.
The bonus is, I can actually store all her other toys inside the house after we're done for the day!!!!
Also, a quick note ladies, I assembled it myself!

We bought this for my daughter when she was 13 months. We couldn't think of anything she really needed and figured if we bought it for her that Christmas we wouldn't have to get it later. She loved it and plays with it everyday. At first she played with the doll house with her big baby dolls and now she is starting to get into barbies. She loves it and gets her big brothers to play Barbies with her to. We all have fun spending time together playing with her doll house. The colors are great. This is a beautiful doll house. It is nice and big, perfect for Barbie and other similar dolls. We bought this for our daughter for Christmas and we're certain she will be delighted. The quality is excellent, the construction is sturdy, and I would recommend this house to anyone looking for one. I did a lot of searching and I'm very pleased with our choice to purchase this one.

My only complaint is that it dropped in price by thirty dollars within days of buying it, so I probably won't buy directly through Little Tikes again.

For a complete look, a two story home needs a staircase for a more realistic play. The classic dollhouse is not available in the stores/toy stores and not on display for veiwing be purchase. I used to have the pink one when I was little, and had to give it away when I moved. Now that I'm a mom, I was looking to find one again to pass down to my little girl. I love the purple version. Though I admit, it's not always the easiest to find furniture to fit the style of the house.

I bought a used, pink one on[...] I like the pink better and I used to prefer purple/lavender. Only Tikes made Barbie-sized furniture that was of high quality and built to last. I bought two complete sets used on Ebay piece by piece and picked out the best. I kept both canopy beds because it is the favorite of all girls. The grill and patio set I sold because the roof is used for Barbies plane. The kitchen set I sold because it took up too much room and I put in a single wall Barbie kitchen. I should have kept the tikes because the new Barbie tables are too flimsy and she doesn't use the kitchen that I bought. The bad news? It is big and my daughter won't play with the grand mansion anymore. She also wants to keep it forever. I spent way more collecting the entire Grand Mansion Set which I love more. It would be good for stuffed animal storage too.If she would let me. LOL
