For the price, this pool was awesome. My 3 year old and I played in it almost every day this past summer and had a lot of fun. You get a lot with this pool.

We did get a lot of use out of this pool over the summer, but it was an absolute bear to drain and clean. The cover was pretty much useless, as it disintegrated in just a few weeks. Our son was three over the summer, so the size was just right for him. It was probably cheaper than paying to go to the public pool everyday, so from that viewpoint it was worth the money but I would most likely buy a different model next time. We threw it away because it got a hole in the inflatable ring and we could not find it anywhere!

This was the most disappointing toy purchases since my father bought me a "Mr. Quarterback" in 1979. The filter pump was almost totally useless. It could only pump water for about 5 minutes then it would lose its prime and not pump any water. There were no replacement filters for the pump. The useless pump made keeping the pool clean extremely difficult. In addition, the zip cover disintegrated in less than 2 months. Tiny blue flecks were in the pool and the zip cover ripped in multiple places. The red inflatable ring faded, and the pool would not maintain a good shape. I would never recommend this product to anyone, even my enemies... if I had any

I bought this pool specifically for the zip cover, after 1 month the cover was starting to deteriorate. The blue cover was coming apart in my hands then it was all in the pool water. What a mess and what a flimsy design. I called Little Tikes and they sent me a new one but I'm sure we will have the same problem next year.

initally when i saw this i was so excited - the cover is what really sold me. unfortunately, the cover dry rotted after 1 1/2 months so was of little use after that. it was a lot harder to put up - it has to be on 100% level ground. we did get one summer out of it. i was hoping to get at least 2 seasons. i would be interested in knowing if they make improvements on this model.

difficult assembly, hard to smooth out, need a perfectly flat backyard, and hard to store. We never really used it - it takes hours to fill!

It was difficult to find a place in the yard that was flat enough for this. It was impossible to get warm more than 6 inches below the surface, at least without using a heater. (and not just because we live in Buffalo!) My daughter and her friends could never stay in it more than 5 minutes. And she didn't like playing in it alone, either.And even with the ziploc cover, I was constantly worried about having it in a yard without a fence.To top it off, it sprang a leak around one of the port holes after only being up for about a month.[...]

The pool itself was great, but we bought this specifically for the zip-tight cover. We purchased this the end of April, truly used it maybe 4x, and the cover was shredded within 3 months. A part of the pool faded out because the cover has a huge hole in it. We were very careful to correctly zipper it on after each use as well, as I have a 19m old son that's very curious. Little Tikes redeemed themselves, though, and gave a full refund. I would not recommend this to anyone who can't put this in a semi-sheltered area.
