we chose this for our son because our friend has a large swing set for his older kids and our son loved the slide on it, but being so young and its so big we couldnt let him go down by himself and he oh so wanted to. so we seen this online and knew it would make him happy and it has ! it seems a little shaky if he starts to swinging his legs on the swing but all in all its not bad. we will see if it becomes a problem as he gets bigger and heavier . it took us to kinda show him how to climb the rock climbing stairs but after a couple of times he kinda got it i'm sure with time he will get it down . but we have fun helping him and he laughs and giggles the whole time so we know he loves it thanks little tikes for solving the problem we had with missing peices you were great wish you had better quality control but i can understand one thing here and their sliping threw the cracks upon calling your support the caring and help was great thankyou again ......

I bought this used last year, so I don't know about assembly but I do know my two girls loved it. They are 3 years old and 1 1/2. My only problem with it is after being outside in the windy weather, the support on the swing side tends to bow in. It doesn't seem to affect the slide stability though. I really like this product for my young children, but I doubt they will play for much longer on it.

My Daughter got this for her first birthday and she loves it. She is 17 months old now. Unfortunately, there is no way to lock the swing in place when I am trying to put her in it or when she is climbing in by herself. Because the swing moves while trying to get in, she has fallen and the swing seat has hit her the head.

I read several rather negative reviews about this before I bought it...they couldn't be more wrong! The size is absolutely PERFECT for my almost 2 year old! He can get into and out of the swing and slide all by himself. The rock-climbing steps took him awhile to get used to...I would've preferred actual steps...but it didn't take him long to master it! The swing doesn't go very high, but I don't think it bothers him: he keeps getting in it! I would definitely recommend this toy to anyone with small toddlers (it says up to 6 years, but I don't think any kids over 3 would fit)

This was fairly easy to put together by myself. There were a couple parts I needed my husband to help with though.

The only thing I don't like is that the telescope won't stay up for us. It keeps falling to the side. But not a big deal at all.

Love it! Hours of outdoor fun for both of my young girls. I am a mom of four girls ranging from 16 years to 2 years old and ALWAYS have had Little Tykes toys in our home. I would recommend the Swing-a-long castle to anyone with small children for hours of outside fun play. Try it. You won't be disappointed!!!!

The product was easy to assemble but took longer than the advertised 20 min. My daughter is 23 months and is already almost too big for it (and she's small for her size), so I'm not sure why they advertise 1-4 years. I think by the time she's 2 1/2 she'll have outgrown it. It's ok for now, not worth the $$ for the amount of use. I really wish I had gone with something bigger. It's too late to return to the store, because we already threw out the box:(
