It was bought for a Christmas present for an 18 mo. old very music-loving precious little granddaughter. The piano is brightly colored and has a clear tone.

I found this very useful from since when my lil bear could sit up until he started walking. It held his attention. A great crib toy while I got dressed in the morning. Good for singing "twinkle twinkle little star" or "marry had a little lamb" I could tell he was picking up that my 'awful' singing was trying to match the pitch of the piano- great buy!

Im a new mommy and bought this second hand not really knowing if it's simplicity would work. Well it did, he absolutley loves it, has never gotten tired of it (introduced it at 4 months and now he is 1yr.) I keep it in my car so that now when he gets upset and deffiant on getting stapped in the car seat, i start playing some tunes and he grabs it from me and all is forgotten. A deffinate MUST.

Daycare told me that my son (4 months old) loved this toy. They told me at the end of the day and he was very tired. They wanted to show me, and I thought there was no way he would do anything that late, but his eyes lit up as soon as he saw it and he banged away! We looked at a few different toy pianos online to get him one for home but decided to go with something we knew he liked. We're very happy with this...he loves to bang it during tummy time, or we balance it on his exersaucer an he plays it. I like that it is not electronic, and the keys are very easy for a infant to press. I highly recommend this item.

I tried to say this in comments, but about 39 years ago, we bought the set, piano, drum and marimba which was great. Now we have to buy separately, but did it for this grandchild because he enjoyed the one we still have.

At first my son wasn't that interested in this toy but now that he's older he enjoys pounding on the keys as hard as he can. He also seems to enjoy occasionally tossing it around the room. So far its held up great.

My son is 9 months. He loves to play with daddy on the big piano, so we bought this small one take along in the car and to grammy's house. He loves to play with it, but the problem is that some of keys keep getting stuck.
