My daughter (20 months) would rather hold the butterflies by their tails and watch their wings spin than let them actually let them fly/swim through the water. Setting them afloat in the water with their eyes pointing up helps them not get tangled as badly, but they still tangle. A friend's daughter got these for her birthday, and we HAD to find some for our house. B[$]

My daughter received this set for her 1st Birthday. Her second birthday is a week away and she's STILL playing with these in the tub and the pool. They have not faded at all, they dry well when left out to dry. The strings have not worn -all in all, great design!

I'm not much of a review writer, but I had to write for this one. I love this toy!! I've tried to find more to give as gifts, but haven't had luck. My 11 month old hasn't gotten to catching it with the net, but even so, it's still worth it. I just wish it was in stores.

My 16 month old daughter loves this toy. She likes to but the butterflies into the net and take them out again...great tub time toy.

Saw this in a store, but they stopped carrying it so I had to track it down online (this is the only place!) The only con I can say is that sometimes the butterflies flip themselves over due to the motion in the water and it causes the cord to get wrapped around their wings. Not hard to get undone for an adult, but frustrating for a child the few times it happens, and it causes me to be concerned that if my child happened to get this caught around a body part it might keep tightening, although I don't think it's long enough for a neck or to cause any real damage, especially if you're watching. They usually stop fluttering when they get caught anyway... Can't say enough about the pros of this toy! Haven't had it long enough to see how the mesh of the net holds up...
