It's small enough for a 6 to 9 mo. old to play with this toy. Also, it's not overwhemingly loud. Even my 3 year old plays with it.

this toy is not for older kids it's small and my 18mth older was not impressed he was more excited about the pop star guitar for toddlers, which I had bought for my older son who looked at me like what the heck is this, Its the baby's right? I am very dissapointed with the age scale it is not indicative of the toy at all.

i bought this toy for my 2 year old, thinking it was more interactive than it was. i was disappointed when i got it and saw it was a baby toy, when it is labeled as a toddler toy. good thing my cousin just had a baby so i can give it away.

I bought this for my son's first birthday. He loves music and likes to dance. He loves this little guitar. He carries it around the house pushing the "strings" for music. A plus for parents: it has a nice volume and is not loud!!
