This is a great toy for that hard to buy for age of 2. Most things are either too young developmentally or too old safety-wise so it's great when you can find a toy specifically for this age. The vehicles are just the right size for small hands and the track goes together easily and stays together nicely. The crane is easy to use, causing very little frustration. It's a generous-sized toy and well worth the price. I would definitely recommend this as a really nice gift.

I saw this on Facebook and couldn't wait to get it for my 2 yr old son. It's pretty easy to assemble and we've had it outside and now we've brought it inside. The tracks don't snap together and hold together very well. I see other people are saying quite the opposite so maybe I got a bad batch? My biggest complaint is that the little trains don't couple up very well which is infuriating to my son. I think the trucks and trains are kinda cheaply designed. For the price it's really pretty good I just wish the trains could hook together better. Is there going to be any extra vehicles that could be purchased for this set? That would be nice but until then I've bought some little cars(I think that they're called Fisher Price Wheelies and they work pretty well with the tracks) In the long run, I'm glad I bought it and I think I'm gonna buy one for my friends kids.

Fun for a little while

It was difficult to get the screws screwed in to the mountain. The train doesn't stay attached very well. My son is 3 and the track is a little bumpy where it comes together and he got frustrated quickly because every time he would get the train to go it would come apart from each other. It's also hard to store since the mountain is screwed together permanetly and can't be broken down to store. It seems to be very durable.
I'm glad it was on sale

About Me Child Care Professional
After having it out in the classroom for a couple of days, the children were bored with it. You can only have the tracks one way and if you don't have the picture, and assemble them correctly, they pop out. Stickers/decals coming off on the first day. They were much more interested in the boxes it came in and we played with them for over a week, lol!

About Me Grandparent
My twenty month old grandson loves this toy. He marvels at the train going through the tunnel. I just wish that the tracks would snap together better so that the toy could be used on a rug. Assembling it on a bare floor is much better. My grandson also got frustrated when the additional cars would not stay attached to the train. For the most part it is a fun toy.

I bought this to use in our Preschool Playroom at church. The kids love it. They put it together all different ways. Uses their imagination in a constructive way.

Train cars and tracks do not stay together well. Constantly have to reconnect. Other than that, kids LOVE it.
Not up to Little Tykes older standards

I have had the same item years ago and it was made to withstand everything a group of toddlers and preschoolers could throw at it. This one is made of much thinner material and the mountain is too easily disassembled by the younger kids. I was very disappointed by the quality of the material. The kids enjoy it but it comes apart too easily for the younger kids to enjoy it correctly.
2 yr old loves it

My 22 mos old grandson loves this, sometimes he doesn't have it all together, but that doesn't stop him! Easy for me to play with him and keep up. The part that goes into the mountain is difficult to figure out, still working on that.
Need a big space

It filled up the whole play table in the kids room. My 3 yr old likes it but picking up the bouilders is not very easy for him, so he usually uses his hands. Seems durable and he really likes the train tracks.

I like the look but it falls apart as my 3 year old grandson plays with it. Very hard to walk around
