This bed is great but I think the price is way too high for it... we got ours for [$] second hand. It's easy to assemble, but if you have to disassemble it to move it for any reason, be careful as the plastic screw covers break easily. We also didn't like that we needed to purchase a piece of wood for the mattress to sit on separately. All that aside, we love our Thomas bed and our little Thomas fan spends lots of time in it playing with his toys. The day we brought the bed home, he went up to Thomas's face and gave it a big kiss and hug : )

            I bought this for a friend second hand (Thank God)... THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO WAY I WOULD SPEND NEARLY $300 ON THIS BED!!!! They didnt include a mattress support when new (I got plywood), it does take 2 people to put together.... I bought it used for [$], and it was missing the lid to the toybox... otherwise it is nearly perfect shape BUT YOU CANNOT ORDER A REPLACEMENT LID!!! The ONLY parts you can order is the decals, and screws!!! NOT VERY GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!Its cute, but I'm definitely glad I got it used, I would NEVER spend this much on a toddler bed! Especially one so poorly made (lacking place to put mattress is what gets me the most)

              Assembly was very difficult, not because the directions were challenging, but because the plastic pieces didn't automatically align when placed in the designated positions. It took two of us a couple of hours of pushing and pulling until we finally had a bed. It doesn't come with a support for under the mattress, so we took the springs from the crib and slotted that frame into the bed frame, which, thankfully, fit nicely. Our toddler loves his new Thomas bed, but I wouldn't embark on this project without some gumption.

              My grandson knows the name of every engine on the Thomas show and has all of them. His clothes have Thomas on them so I bought the bed for his birthday. His face was priceless when he saw his big boy bed. Now he takes his trains in his room and goes to bed like a good boy. It was worth every penny.

                My son loves this bed and it helped make an easy transition from his crib. The fact it doesnt come with springs or a board to rest the matress on is a little annoying and should be made clearer when ordering it. I built this by myself and getting some of the parts to lock in together was not easy.
