My 3 year old, Aidan, loves this truck! I made the mistake of letting him ride it around the house since it was cold out when we first got it (crazy Chicago weather) and now he drives it everywhere in the house. I don't really mind because it's plastic and it makes him so happy how can I take it away! Aidan drives it to the stairs when he needs to go up or down and he parks it there waiting for him. He has taken it in the bathroom with him to wash his hands, into the kitchen and had a corndog and sippy cup in it, and he even cleans it with wet wipes! Oh and the first night he even wanted it in his bedroom! We have played with outside too and he has brought it over to all the neighbors to show them. He drives it like there is no tomorrow! He even makes siren noises! The truck wheels glide perfectly and the steering wheel works great too. We haven't added water yet to the water tank yet, but I am sure that will be a hit when the weather warms up here. It is also roomy in there and not a tight fit. As for assembly, the Little Tikes directions were awesome. It even mentioned an online video for assembly but my husband had no problems putting it together in about 15 minutes. I will say though if you are ordering this online as a surprise or present, it does come shipped in the actual Little Tikes box, not a brown cardboard box so it will be seen.Overall, this Fire Truck is more than a hit in my house. My 22 month old has played in it a little bit and enjoys it, but that is only when I can pry my 3 year out! I was especially surprised too that Aidan likes it so much as I didn't realize he is that into fire trucks, so this is not just for fire truck lovers!

My 2 yr loves it but I don't think she'll use it for too long since it is small. The tank is great however, the hose bends and will eventually break because it always bends at the SAME place. There isn't a hook to keep the hose on so it doesn't bend. Kids will not pay attention to how the hose is placed. Issue #2, if you remove the tank, the fire truck can fall back, not totally safe. I still recommend it but emailed Little Tykes to see what can be done about the hose. Also air is escaping the pump handle, for some reason? We've only had this for a month! Disappointing.

AND THE WATER TANK ON THE BACK IS GREAT IT HELPS THE KIDS LEARN TO USE THE PUMP AND TO PRESS BUTTONS TO SQUIRT THE WATER THIS IS VERY HELPFUL FOR THE TEACHING OR YOUNGER CHILDEREN OR IN OUR CASE A SPECIAL NEEDS CHILD SO THIS IS AAAAAAAAA++++++++++++++ IN OUR BOOK THANKS

SPRAY & RESCUE FIRE TRUCK

I ordered this for my 2 year-old grandson for Christmas. Although, it is BRIGHT, CHEERFUL and absolutely ADORABLE, it is much too big for a 2 year-old. MOST DISAPPOINTING IS THE FACT THAT THE LADDERS WILL NOT, NOT, STAY ON!!! :(

My grandson always seems to want to climb in and out of the side that is not open. I don't see the ladders lasting. Time will tell. My son had a firetruck thirty years ago, I wish I wouldn't have given it away!

This is adorable. I assembled it myself and I am a not very talented at putting together things grandmother! My 2 year old grand loves it and we both can't wait until summer to take it outside and use the hose to water the plants.

This product is a heavy duty plastic for children at the age the product is recommended for. I would recommended this product to anyone. The product is for my grandson. He's going to use it outside soon as the snow melts. Good product.

With 4 little boys my daughter-in-law loves toys they can all play with together. The fire truck is great! They have races on the driveway with other cars and bikes, older ones push the younger one,or they take turns putting out imaginary fires with the fire hose.
