Comments about Little Tikes Sizzle 'n Pop Kitchen™:
We have a special needs toddler and the kitchen helps him use both hands. He forgets he has a handicap and tries real hard to use both hands.

Excellent toy

About Me Grandparent
This was the favorite toy for my grandson. He loves the different noises the burner makes with the different pots and pans. Someone asked me why I was buying a kitchen for my grandson; I told them fathers cook all the time. My grandson plays with it every day; he has not grown tired of it like his other presents. All the cooking pieces can be stored inside the oven or frig doors. I would recommend this toy to anyone. It is small enough to fit in a small home or apartment.

video is false advertising

About Me Working Parent
It's great uless the sounds are important to you. The video makes it sound like cooking bacon. There is NO WAY that this sound is from the toy. The first sound is boiling water. The next two are a horrible sound that is supposed to be an "exhaust fan" that so loud and annoying that I can't hear the "cooking sounds" at all. I would take out the batteries but they are needed to make the popcorn pop. It sounds terrible.
perfect size

Overall satisfied. We gave it to our two year old granddaughter as her birthday gift and she loves it. Not enough food items and the popcorn popping sound was bad enough that we took the batteries out. The size of the toy is perfect, not too big, but big enough to encourage imaginative play.
Nice for pretend play/Horrible sound
By Military Mom

My daughter loves to play with this kitchen. I figured that she would because she always wants to help me cook. She is only 1.5yrs old, so I dont allow her in the kitchen when I cook. This pretend kitchen lets her help me cook without actually helping. The only problem we have is the sounds that come from the stove. The fan sound is horrible! I had to take the batteries out because it kind of scared my kiddo.
Good but sound issue

About Me Parent Of Two Or More Children, Working Parent
My kids love to cook in the kitchen when mommy and daddy are cooking. I was really excited for the real-life sounds, but was forced to keep the sounds off when only 1 of the 3 can actually be heard. The other 2 only emit an unbearably loud buzzing noise. The only other issue I have with the set is the difficulty my children have opening the refrigerator door. It sticks on the frame between the hinges causing us to use extra force to open it as well as a loud popping noise.
My grandson loves his kitchen

My grandson loves to play with the kitchen set at his play group so I was looking for something small that still had all the features of the larger sets. This set is perfect for him .. he loves the popping/frying sound the stove makes and it's good for his pretend play. I loved the fact that it was a 'corner' set - it fits well into his play area.

Great first kitchen!

About Me First Time Parent
My daughter loves her Sizzle and Pop kitchen. She gets so excited when we "make" popcorn and the kernels pop inside the canister. This is her first play kitchen and it is a great introduction to pretend house play for little ones.

Good toy but Sounds terrible
By cbsunny1111

This is such a cute toy that it is a shame the noises overshadow the design quality. Put the pots on the stove top for the effects but, 2/3 of them are a loud hum over the top of the popping sound & blowing feature that makes the popcorn fly around in the pot- purportedly by design as a fan simulation. It's very annoying frequency and makes the sound feature almost unusable. Perfect height for my toddler and accessories are adorable, we just turn off the sound.
