    My daughter (18 months) loved pushing regular shopping carts at the store but they aren't her size so we decided to buy this shopping cart for her. She absolutely loves this cart! We take it with us to the store so she can do her own shopping. Yes, it's a bit big to lug to the grocery store and back home, but it definitely is worth the joy that she gets from being able to shop with Mom, Dad, and big sisters! The basket is a nice size so if I'm just picking up a few items, I just throw them in her cart!

    I was very excited about my daughter getting this cart because she loved the one at our play group. However, there is a design flaw in this one and it has too much of the cart over the front wheel. So, if you fill it up with play food and then put just a little pressure on the front, the whole thing tips over! This is a daily occurance in our home and I worry my kids will get hurt. That said, It is very durable and quite tall so if you need a cart for an older child (3-5) this may be good for you.

        I purchased this toy for our grandson when he was beginning to walk. It steadied him and gave him more mobility. It can tip, so we filled the basket with some stuffed animals for a little more stability. Now he can walk on his own, but still likes to push the shopping cart as well. It is good for both inside and outside use. I will purchase this again for my future grandchildren when they are ready to walk!

                    the children enjoy having another shopping cart in housekeeping to play with. I purchased this shopping cart to keep the peace between a 2 year old and a 15 month old...I do think that the older version is sturdier than the new version but that is just my opinion. It is great for pushing the doll babies around in, pushing around the room, and keeping my 2 year old and my 15 month old daycare children happy.
