While our daughter loves the toy from her Nana, it took my husband and I two days to put the toy together (a total of probably 4-5 hours...we had to walk away). There are definitely some steps the company SHOULD have done before dropping it all in the box...and some WORDS with the directions would have been helpful! I suggest watching the website's instructional video all the way through before attempting the assembly...maybe even putting that note on the picture instructions would help! I'm glad we were at least smart enough to give ourselves two days to get it done before Christmas...but it was definitely worth the hassle watching our daughter enjoy her cozy coupe!

We got this as a christmas gift because my daughter loved riding in her cousin's cozy coupe. Since it just started to get nice out, we took it out of the closet to assemble it. First off, the instructions were backwards. I didn't like the order of them. Second, this took 2 1/2 hours to assemble. The parts that are supposed to just click into place were not doing that. I had my 130 lb body on top of the car and still the piece would not click into place. Dad even tried with his 190lbs of pressuer to get the pieces to click into place. If I had my choice, I would have gone to a yard sale and bought it already assembled. My daughter is estatic that she can now ride in it, but I am sore after trying ot put it together. Not very happy with it. I would not recommend this only because of the assembly.

We were so excited to see the coupe made in the pink coloring because our little 2 year old daughter loves all things pink. We bought the car as a Christmas gift, and she was so excited to receive it. We love that she can take it outside, and have fun with it inside also. Our daughter loves that she can "drive" with her own two feet and we love that it is easy for her to maneuver. We love the handle on the back that we can help push her around if she wants, and the cute drink holders in the back for our bottles of water. The only thing that we would complain about is that it took FOREVER to put together. I'm just happy that my husband had the patience to do so...I would have had a hard time sitting there for more than an hour to finish it. But, that is also what makes it more sturdy. Other than that we love it, and so does our daughter. It's a fun, durable product.

        Does anyone know if the floor board will fit an older model coupe car? I emailed Little Tikes but I never heard back from them. I bought a used car that is pink with a purple roof(has headlights not eyes)for my granddaughter(I don't know how old it is) and would love to put a floor board in it so she could use it now, she is only 7 months old. I would really apprieciate hearing from someone that knows if it will fit.

          This car is great for my 22 month old. She can use it indoors and outside. This was a present from Santa Claus, and I wish the elves had put it together. This was probably one of the worst toys I've ever put together for my two daughters. The wheels were hard to put together. The front white posts were a bear to snap in. The picture showed that it should snap in with the palm of your hand. It took all the weight on my hand and body leaning into it while it was braced against a wall. A little soap rubbed on the ends helped too. The instructions were in two parts and the first part was for a different Cozy coupe model. Finally none of the screw holes are predrilled. The screws went in with a little force, but I really expected the holes to be there already

          Terrible quality control. There was no hole for the gas cap. There was no hole for the steering wheel column. There was no hole for the floor pan buttons. I had to drill holes all over this thing just to put it together! From watching the video, there should have already been holes. Still, it's a great toy. I hope yours already has the holes.

          If you heat the front roof pillars in boiling water for 3-5 minutes the plastic softens and they will slide into place. Otherwise you maybe hours trying to assemble!
