    I got this toy for my son when he was about 9 months old, but he was to young for it. But when he was around 12 months old I took it back out of storage and he loved it. He found the sounds to be funny and amuseing. He slowly learned how to rock himself and by the time I knew it he had learned to stand and rock on it (supervised of coarse). It was a great toy for him too practice his balance and his fine motore skills since they have to learn to push the buttons as well. I recomend this toy all the way. Just be sure that your little one is ready for it. If they are able to walk ok and are not afraid of loud sounds then they are pretty much good to go. The toy would be great with a volume control though. Because at times it gets loud with 5 kids and it is nice to be able to lower the volume on some toys.

    As far as the toy itself - it's fine but, my son is a police officer so I bought this Motorcycle for his son's 2nd birthday. I was excited to give it to him until I heard the Siren - the Siren on this toy is a British siren not your typical Siren you would hear in the Southern part of the US. My grandson is very well aware of what a police siren sounds like - had it not been for the lights he wouldn't have realized it was a police motorcycle at all.

    I'm not knocking the British - I just wish the siren could have been one that is heard locally...

      We bought this for our grandson's first birthday. His father is a policeman so it was a perfect gift. He just loved it and loved the noises and lights on it. His three year old sister liked it as well. It was easy for him to get on and off and soon figured out how to rock. I am sure there are many fun days ahead. It was a little more that I had planned to spend but it was well worth it.

        We purchased for our younger grandson (8mths) who has older brother (just turned 2yrs). Thought it would be good for both.. IT IS! Both boys enjoy using the rocking motorcycle! Youngest has to be rocked but can hold on and enjoy. 2yr old has no problem rocking, and rocking HARD. But, it will not tip over! Great buy! Extremely happy with quality and use for both boys.

                    The Good: 1) Well-constructed and sturdy. 2) Safe when used with adult supervision. 3) Durable.

                    The Bad: 1) Relatively expensive. 2) No volume adjustment or mute feature for the cycle sounds console. A young toddler may be startled by the rather loud sounds. It scared my 15 month old grandson. We had to take the batteries out of the console so it won't make noise before he would get on it.

                    Overall: A good toy for toddlers. My grandson really likes it and plays on it a lot.
