Our 2-year-old granddaughter loved this kitchen set (and so did her cousins). She received it as a gift for her 2nd birthday. She pretend filled up the coffee pot with water (while hearing the running water sound), cooked eggs on the stove (with the sizzling sound), and put things in the microwave (testing out each of the 3 sounds there too). The only thing I wish is that the phone made sounds. I thought from reviews that I read that it was supposed to. It was the 1st thing she grabbed and said "Hewwo!" (Hello) but she never picked it up after that. I don't know how hard it was to put together because our son-in-law did it before her party when we weren't there. The finished product looked great and was a big hit, however! She also looked very cute in the chef hat and apron that came with it. There is only one other thing I was bothered by, and that was how much we had to pay for shipping. There was the regular shipping cost and then an "oversize" package charge. It was a lot to pay for shipping, but I couldn't find free shipping for this product anywhere!

It's cute, but difficult to assemble. You will need to drill holes into the plastic before screwing a lot of the parts into place. Overall the quality is a bit shoddy. I paid more for a Little Tikes kitchen thinking I was getting a better product, but it seems to be just a cheaply made as the competitors. Also, putting on some of the larger decals took years off my life!

Comments about Little Tikes My First Kenmore Elite™ Kitchen:

PROS: This kitchen incorporates all the appliances without a big footprint but is big enough for the two of them (ages 2 and 5) to use it at the same time. The storage space in the fridge, dishwasher, and oven is quite sizeable and would easily fit additional sets of cookware and play food. The buttons make great noises too! WARNING: The panoramic stickers are very challenging for perfectionist parents!!

Comments about Little Tikes My First Kenmore Elite™ Kitchen:

I'm a single mom and was able to assemble this kitchen in a little over an hour. The instructions are well written. My daughter is 19 months old and absolutely loves all the sound applications and compartments. The only limitation she has is that she is too short to reach the microwave buttons and therefore requires a stool. Overall, I was very satisfied with this product.

This toy encourages interactaction with my toddler grandchild. When she brings me food she cooked and I say how good it is, she glows, runs back to cook me something else. Just wish it had come with a plate, coffee cup, and a glass to serve on.

my grandson loves this kitchen set! He likes the coffee pot, because he has been helping dad press buttons on his.... Now he can make coffee too!! My favorite part about it would be the generic colors..... I purchased the pastel kitchen ( seeing colors in advertisement seemed to be non gender specific) and two of the parts were the color purple....... Too girlie for boys alone. At 18 mo. old, my grandson also enjoys the shutters and cooking in the microwave!
