Comments about Little Tikes Makin' Real Ice Cream™:
We bought this for our kids, ages 3 and 5, for Christmas. They used it twice and LOVED making ice cream!! Then, our puppy got the canister cover and chewed it a bit. The only way to get a new cover is to buy a whole new set.It makes a small amount of ice cream at a time, perfect for kids! The covers on the ball are very hard to get out, definately not kid-friendly.Great concept, bad design!!!

My 3 year old daughter loves feeling so big when she makes ice cream for her big sisters. The Ice cream is Yummy and so easy to make. We all get a little taste which pleases her to know that we love the ice cream she made.

Fun Experience for Kids

My daughter just loves this toy. It is fun for pretend play as well as to make the ice cream. Adult help is needed, but it is very easy and the ice cream is yummy. It only makes enough for one serving each time, but that makes a nice snack. After the ice cream freezes, it is sometimes hard to get the lids off. I just make sure I line up the arrow and then use a knife to help it open. This is a neat hands on experience for children and cooler than the little snow cone makers etc. because it can be used for pretend play as well. It is also small enough that it does not take up a lot of space in the garage or the house. So far we have only used it in the house. I do think the fifty dollars is a bit much to pay so if you can get it on sale...great!
