I bought this for my 3 yr old and 1 yr old twins to play with in the basement playroom. The assembly took awhile and definitely was a two person effort at times. My husband had me leaning on the roof while he was inside screwing. You definitely need several hours, an electric screwdriver and a helper to put this together. The kids love it and go in and out constantly in their play. Lots of different toys are played with in their new clubhouse. As for size, my three fit in with no problem and there is room for more. My husband was in there a few times too. It's a good size and ready for your kids' imagination!

My granddaughter loves her new "Club house". The only thing she pointed out to us was that she'd like all the windows, especially the large ones, to have shutters on them. Otherwise, it is a very nice design.

I "finally" saved up enough to get the log cabin. [...] set up easy and the cutest house I've seen. Big enough to grow into. A 2nd birthday gift for my grandson, big enough for his daddy to play with him. I chose the cabin because it wasn't gender specific. I do wish though that it came with either play food or maybe a child chair or two. Otherwise, fantastic playhouse, pricey but I'm sure the wear and tear will last forever.

Great outdoor fun for my youngest two grandchildren and their neighborhood friends. Large enough for multiple children to play at one time. It is their most used gift.

We just got our Log Cabin from Santa Claus (Grandma and Aunt) this Christmas, and our 3 year old son loves it. He calls it his "tree house", and he loves climbing in and out, opening and closing the shutters, and playing with his toys inside the playhouse. When his cousins, who are about the same age, come over, they have a great time playing in it. Perfect playhouse for toddlers/preschoolers. [...] and my husband had it assembled in about 25 minutes with a power screwdriver. Right now it's inside our family room, so I'm not sure about its durability outside, but it seems pretty sturdy to me. I looked at playhouses for weeks before choosing this one, and I'm very satisfied so far. It's large enough to grow with him, and it is exactly what we wanted.

Keegan loves it...but it was quite difficult to assemble. The instructions are simple, but the plastic seamed to be somewhat warped. It took a lot of force to fit the roof into the slots required. It just wouldn't line up. I consider myself very good at self-assembly...this one just took a lot of strength. We still had to leave some screws out of the roof. Maybe if we had put it together when it was warm, the plastic would have been more flexible.

I purchased this cabin for my 2 granddaughters, ages 3 and 1. The reason I chose this one above the others was that it seemed to have the tallest interior and would allow them to still use it as the got taller. They love the cabin and play in it often and long. My only complaint would be that a few small actual shelves would be more fun for the kids than the molded in shelf, books and clock. They never look twice at the molded-in-plastic books and I think they would've loved to be able to put things on actual shelves. It's an extremely minor complaint and other than that they adore this and it works very well for them and their imaginations.

I bought this for my son's birthday. It came today and with the "help" of my 2 and 5 year old, we got it together in about 1 1/2 hours. The instructions are pretty easy to follow. I used "mommy power" and a regular screw driver for most of it. A power drill definately comes in handy for the roof. The size is good. Plenty of room for my 5 year old and tall enough for him to stand in. The only thing it doesn't have is a little door bell like the Step 2 playhouses have.

This is actually the SECOND log cabin we have purchased from you. Our first one is outside and the new one we just bought is in our basement. The daycare kids LOVE it and pretend it is like a neighborhood and run their Little Tikes vehicles around it. What fun they all have inside it as well. I really appreciate the safety and well thought out planning of design with all your products...the rounded edges and covered screws, etc. I'd buy another one if we had more room!
