    This seems to be a cute workhorse, but the directions were backwards. Once assembled, it could not be unassembled to be fixed correctly without breaking parts. It would be nice if the parts would come off without breaking-you never know when you may need to take it apart. It would be nice if the directions showed how to put the pieces in on the correct side. On many pieces the sides are identical, but if you put them on the wrong side,in particular the legs, they will not work correctly. I do not know if I would recommend this, since it has not been played with. If I did, it would be with reservations about the directions.

    Durable workbench toy in bold colors. Not as tall as I expected but the activities absorb my 14 month old son. My 3 year old daughter also likes to pound and twist. The gear wheels on the front are very stiff and too difficult for my kids to play with, but the biggest attraction is the hammer and nails.

      I stumbled across this when looking online for a Christmas present for my 2 year old son who plays very roughly. I knew this would be perfect for him... and me. Now, when he has those frequent moments of wanting to beat on something with a plastic hammer or any other toy, he can hammer away on this workhorse instead of my walls. My 4 year old also enjoys playing with it, and my 10 month old enjoys standing at it. Summarized, we ALL love it!

      Bonus: I love that Little Tikes has VERY good customer service, and that any time there's a problem such as missing parts, they are so easy to deal with and take care of the problem right away. It makes me happy when I see a toy I like that's made by Little Tikes.

      I purchased this for my church nursery. I contacted Little Tikes two ways: on-line and by phone. I still have not heard from anyone about the missing yellow gear and if it will get replaced. This aside, I love the durability of Little Tikes toys and will continue to buy them.

            This was given to us by my parents at the same time as the Craftsman Workbench. It is so/so at this point. My son hasn't figured out the screws yet so it hasn't really served its purpose yet. We keep it in his room because he'll love it any daynow.

            For the price and size, it is wonderful but I would recommend springing for something a little more substantial that has more feature to keep a young one interested and going through all the stagesof interest.

                Very disappointing. This toy would have been great if it stayed together. The pieces do not fit together well enough so it falls apart even if lightly touched. I was speaking with another mother and she had the same problem with it.

                  My son loves it! He is learning how to use a hammer, screw driver and wrench without hurting a thing including himself. I love the fact its portable. I wished there were more stuff for the top-4 little pegs, screws just isn't enough. Santa gave it to him.

                      My son recevied this toy from his godmother for Christmas but guess who had to put it together. This toy was hard to put together because instructions are not clear and pieces didn't fit properly. My husband and I had to literally pound the legs into place. My son enjoys playing with it though.
