Assembly was Christmas Eve. It seemed an entire package of bolts was missing. Fortunately my son-in-law was able to find supplies in his garage so house was ready on Christmas morning.

This was bought for our grandchildren. My son put it together in about one hour or even less. Easy directions, and easy assemble. Both a boy and girl enjoyed it. It looks very cute in the house during the winter, but should be great when it is warmer and can move it outside.

We got this for my son for his 1st birthday and he loves it. He wants to go outside as much as possible and heads right to his house. He loves the phone, hammer, and screwdriver, as well as checking the mail and opening/closing his front door. I'm very pleased with the purchase.

However, I do agree with some previous reviewers that have mentioned that it is a pain to assemble. It takes quite a while, and you need to drill/hammer your own holes for some of the screws. If I had one suggestion for an improvement it would be larger/more effective drainage holes for the sink and other basins. Some have small holes, others none, and either way they tend to fill up when it rains.

My 2 year old grandson loves this house!!!! But, I have never put together anything that was so difficult!!!! It took my daughter and I a long time to assemble, with an electric drill. I would recommend this to others, but caution them on the time involved to assemble.

We bought this playhouse for our son 3 and our daughter 2. They love it and so do we. Our only complaints are it is time consuming to put togather, it was missing screws, the mailbox will not stay shut and the fence isn't that sturdy.

I wanted a playhouse that my three grandsons would like as well as my granddaughter. The boys play for hours role-playing fixing things. They "call" for workers to come out to the house. They love the mailbox and they love getting letters in the mailbox. I like that it's open on all sides so they can interact with us while they are playing. And it's CUTE! I can't wait now until my grand-daughter sees it as well.

We had been looking for an outdoor playhouse for a while through various avenues. This particular model came on special at a local retailer and for the money, we couldn't say no. We knew we wanted Little Tikes, as our almost two year old son is very active and in need of something durable. I built the playhouse myself which took a bit longer than I hoped however, had I had an electric drill, it would have been much quicker. The cuteness of the house helps it fit in with our backyard beautifully, and as we have it undercover, our son can enjoy it anytime. He is already keen to add Dads tools to his own!! The fence is a little lacking in support/stability but apart from this, the rest of the playhouse is great. I'd happily recommend this to friends.

I just received this playhouse, having read up for a day or so on which one to get. I'm usually a big Little Tikes fan, as well as Step 2, but this one won out. My daughter is 4.5 and my son is 2.5 years old, so I needed something they could both play with, gender-neutral, and especially TALL enough for my daughter who is really tall! Putting it together took my husband and I about 2 hours, but I think it could be done in slightly shorter time.... Instructions were easy enough to follow; it definitely helped to use an electric screwdriver.

The kids have played with this house NONSTOP since we put it in our back yard. I heeded the advice that this house has just enough stimulation, but not too much, as well as the airiness of the windows and added bonus of the mailbox. The kids have dragged their play food out and play house and restaurant with them. My daughter, who is about 47 inches tall, can stand inside, and my son (2.5) is probably the perfect age for it. I'm very happy with this purchase and hope that it withstands our So Cal sun in my back yard.

My 18 month old boy-girl twins love this playhouse. I was on the hunt for a perfect playhouse for them and this fit the bill. It has a tool side fit for boys and a sink area fit for girls. The fence and the mailbox make it so visually appealing, 2 extras other playhouses don't have. I didn't want an enclosed playhouse due to the summer heat in our area. I do wish it had a floor but I guess if it gets muddy in the grass, I can always move it to the patio. My husband and his brother put it together in 1.5 hours. Their complaints were that there weren't pre-drilled holes and the directions to assemble the roof were poor. I am looking forward to having my twins grow with this house. We were able to snag a great deal on this house at [...]. They had a 20 dollar coupon plus were giving away a free Little Tikes Bowling Set along with purchase.
