Bought for my grandchildren. All parts were there. Was easy to assemble with help from my husband. Roof was the only difficult part and I recommend two people working on it. It took a couple of hours to assemble but worth it. Weve spent more hours watching them play with it, so 2 or 3 hours of assembly is minor. Grandchildrens Ages are 2, 3, and 6 year old twins. Only concern is how it will with stand our Oregon coast weather.

Great product! My daughter loves it. However, the one I received was slightly defective. First, one of the holes to hold the fence was not there. I had to cut the hole myself which I thought "no big deal." Then I noticed that the "planting play area" on the backside of the playhouse was far from being level. After looking it over very carefully I found that one side had quite a bit of extra plastic at the bottom. I tried removing it with a razor which proved to be very difficult but I got it done. Even after removing it the house is still slightly lopsided. I feel sure since I had already assembled it before noticing the problem that the screws are now holding in this position. Also, I did not receive the wrench assecory.

Our son-in-law did not have the tools we needed (we were visiting from far away)to assemble the house, so it took a looooong time and was difficult. Easier assembly would be a perk. The directions were not all that clear for first time builders, and we had a few extra parts! It was worth it as our toddler granddaughter loved her new just-the-right-size house1

This was a gift from the inlaws.

Tools needed to assemble.

Variable speed power drill with a long phillips head bit.
7/16th or 11mm wrench x 2 (wracheting wrenches work the best)

The entire play set is fairly simple to put together except for the roof.

instead of laying it flat on a table i rested it on it's side and tightened the the outer two bolts first and then did the inside two.

The reason for the power drill is because not all of the holes are predrilled and some of the screws are 2". When considering whether or not to have it assembled at the store consider the price of tools if you have none and your building capabilities, I had my wife and two daughters go out for lunch while I commenced to building (I treated). If your children are going to be present while building there are a lot of screws, nut's, bolts and washers that can be lost. I would put all the small parts in zip lock bags rather then leave them out.

Over all when the Girls returned from lunch I was asked if I had "built their house yet" I told them to go out side and look and I have heard nothing but giggles and playing since and that was three hours ago.

Assembly was Christmas Eve. It seemed an entire package of bolts was missing. Fortunately my son-in-law was able to find supplies in his garage so house was ready on Christmas morning.

This was bought for our grandchildren. My son put it together in about one hour or even less. Easy directions, and easy assemble. Both a boy and girl enjoyed it. It looks very cute in the house during the winter, but should be great when it is warmer and can move it outside.

We got this for my son for his 1st birthday and he loves it. He wants to go outside as much as possible and heads right to his house. He loves the phone, hammer, and screwdriver, as well as checking the mail and opening/closing his front door. I'm very pleased with the purchase.

However, I do agree with some previous reviewers that have mentioned that it is a pain to assemble. It takes quite a while, and you need to drill/hammer your own holes for some of the screws. If I had one suggestion for an improvement it would be larger/more effective drainage holes for the sink and other basins. Some have small holes, others none, and either way they tend to fill up when it rains.

My 2 year old grandson loves this house!!!! But, I have never put together anything that was so difficult!!!! It took my daughter and I a long time to assemble, with an electric drill. I would recommend this to others, but caution them on the time involved to assemble.

We bought this playhouse for our son 3 and our daughter 2. They love it and so do we. Our only complaints are it is time consuming to put togather, it was missing screws, the mailbox will not stay shut and the fence isn't that sturdy.
