This kitchen was hard to assemble because there were 5 or 6 missing "pre-drilled" holes. My husband had to drill them on Christmas eve. This was disappointing considering the price. Other than that it looks really nice and is great for group play. Time will tell how long it will hold up.

I purchased this for my two year old and have overall been very happy. There is a ton of storage for food and dishes and he really loves the sound features. The cons, for me, are that the ice maker simply does not work no matter how many times we tried and the doors/grill cover are made of flimsy plastic, not the thicker type that the rest of the parts are made of. I remember my Little Tikes kitchen (mid 80's) being completely constructed of the thick material. It doesn't seem to bother my son though and he has really enjoyed playing with it! Assembly was pretty easy as well. It only took my husband about an hour to assemble and the parts were well labeled.

My children love to have one stand on the other side of the counter and be a customer while the other makes and serves the food.

My two children (my daughter who is 2 & my son who is 3) LOVE it -- my daughter received it for her 2nd birthday at the start of January. (Although it has only been 2 weeks) It has quickly become a favorite in our house. We did buy some additional play food and some additional pots -- but that was to insure that both kids had plenty to play with. So far, we've had plenty of storage space as long as we use the shelves beneath the grill, the two baskets, and the dishwasher!

My daughter really loves this play kitchen. She is 19 months and will use this item for years. The only thing I did not like about this product was the plastic molded components were speckled with all these black marks that took away from its appearance. I would have taken it back for an exchange but it was two days until Christmas and I searched high and low for this product. Other than that its a great product.

Some love:
1. We love watching our 2.5-year-old whip up food for us!

2. We love the modern, but neutral colors.

3. We love the variety of ways to cook.

4. Construction quality is good. It should hold up to many years of banging pots and pans.

Some trouble:
1. We had some trouble with the main, beige-colored piece. The injection-molded plastic was a bit warped/bowed, so it took some serious pulling and awkward straining to get the arch to slide in.

2. The decals look great, but they are extremely sticky. Don't go too quickly; once they stick, that is their final resting place.
