Extremely sturdy, well-made, clever and realistic. I bought this for my 5 year old son. He and my 3 1/2 year old love to play with these types of mowers on the playground at school. Apparently everyone loves them at the school and the teachers need to manage having children take turns. So while it seems to be made for younger toddlers, older preschoolers enjoy playing with it, too. After letting my son "mow" the carpet, we took it outside and it remains an outside toy; it works well inside or out. They sometimes do a leisurely mow, but often are running with it. We even take it for neighborhood walks. Pushing is the primary focus of play, but they also like pulling the start cord since it makes a revving sound. "Filling" the gas tank with the removable bottle is also fun. I wish the handle were adjustable, but know it is geared toward younger children.

We like the mower a lot and it entertains my son. The only problem was that the pull cord broke (off track, so doesn't make the sound any more) only two days after having it. All other aspects are good.

Everything is great about this product.. Except the pull cord broke easy on the first one. We had to exchange it but that's due to his father pulling it to hard. My son is 16 months and we have to bring this everywhere. He loves it

Only 4 stars because starter cord worked on Christmas day only then failed to make sound when pulled. Hopefully the quality of plastic gears in "motor" might be upgraded in future production. Other than the cord and rear mower projection to dig into carpet during backing, I can not think of anything to make this a better toy.

I bought this for my 1.5 year old son for Christmas and he LOVES it! His 3 year old sister plays with it a lot too. Great purchase, and great quality product. Would buy again, and highly recommend it.

My son loves this mower. When I bought it, the mower sound from the pull broke the same day. I called Customer Service because the box had already been taken with the trash and I wasn't sure if the store would take it back. The customer service at Little Tikes was GREAT and we got a replacement. However, the second mower's pull cord now also is broken. It doesn't deter my son from playing with it but maybe that feature needs to be redesigned to be a little more durable. He's mowing my living room as I type this.....

My 15 month old son loves this mower and so do my 2 year old niece and 5 year old nephew who play with it when they come over. It was supposed to be a Christmas present for my son, but I didn't do a good job hiding it. He found it and has played with it everyday since.

I had bought this for my 18 month old G-son and he loves it. Well, worth the money, he mowed everything. Loves the little gas can also, did not take him long to figure it out. He is 2 now and still using it. He uses it so much I just purchased another one for my other G-son who will be 1 next month. I would highly recommend this toy!

My grandson thoroughly enjoys his mower, inside and out. But the pull string will not rewind. The first day I bought it for him it pulled a couple of times, now no more. The string hangs off of the mower.
