I have a day care at my home and care for 6 children ages 1 through 5. all the children enjoy playing in the tikes town playhouse. I found that half of the roof had a hole in it from the manufacturer. I cantacted Little tikes and they sent me a replacement part.
one windy night the playhouse did blow across the yard....

The house is great and has so much to do. The assembly took 2 people around 2 hours and requires a drill and electric screwdriver. The stickers really make the house but unfortunately seem to be falling off because of weather.

Wish the decals were actually weather resistant.
The stickers don't hold up at all. the
Phone and gas attachments were totally inoperable within the first year.

Great playhouse for taller children since it has a lot of head room for them to move around freely without having to duck. Our nieces and nephews have kept theirs inside and it has kept much better than ours, so it's great for an indoor playroom if you have one.

    The kids love this playhouse, it is their first, so they were very excited to come out in the backyard one day and see it. I wasn't sure if I was going to get it at first because some people said it was hard to assemble. However, it was very simple, just needed a power drill to make it go quicker, but it was very easy and I did it alone.

                We had our playhouse outside when a tornado hit our street. It went flying down the street and right into the twister.It was then knocked to the ground when a tree fell.When we found it,it was in pieces but we were able to put it back together just like new.Wow, I wish more things were this well made.

                  My parents bought this for my then 16 month old son for Christmas and it was a huge hit with him. He mainly has fun opening and closing the door and shutters right now, but he's already begun pointing to the items built into the walls on the inside and I know there will be endless pretend play opportunities as he gets older. Assembly was fairly straigtforward - just takes a bit of elbow grease to get all of the screws through the plastic, but that's to be expected, and the final product is very attractive and sturdy. Great playhouse! (Our yellow lab enjoys playing in it, too - plenty of room for me, my son, and the 90lb dog)

                    The reaction from our 2 1/2 year old was priceless. He was coming down the stairs and saw it in the playroom and was saying, "WOW...WOW...WOW...WOW!" He played in it for over an hour before he moved on to any of the other Christmas presents. It was a HUGE hit with not just him but all of my daycare kids as well. I highly recommend this to anyone who has 1 or more children as it will keep them busy all day.
