We are happy with our hide and slide tower. We got it for our one year old daughter. She can't really use it too much yet, but she'll be able to soon. I wanted something that was plastic instead of wood since she's young and I didn't want to worry about her getting hurt as easily but that still looks nice in the yard. So this works for us. It's a good size... the platform wouldn't be too far of a fall for little ones. It took some man power to snap the pieces together but didn't take my husband too long to put it together. It was REALLY nice that it didn't come in ten million pieces - just the big parts that all snap together. Matches with our endless adventures picnic table cute, too!

My husband and I bought this outdoor climber for our two year old daughter because of the Little Tikes name,reputation,easy assembly and quality. The assembly was extremely difficult. You really need two strong men. I helped my husband and we had difficulty. I was happy that the climber is sturdy; however, Little Tykes did not provide detailed instructions and made the assembly look easier than it was. It took us a total of 3 long hours. I want the product to be safe but, it should also be parent friendly. In addition, there is a headboard where we put our big slide- my daughter is small and she has to duct to slide.
I do like the design and it's also weather proof.

        I got this set after a ton of searching for the right one for his second birthday and it was a great purchase. He easily navigates the tunnel and slides and loves climbing all day. It took me and my mom fifteen minutes to put together (my mom is a construction worker though and builds things for a living). I would definitely buy this product again.

        This is a very nice play set, however it was given as a gift to my 3-yr old son. It was purchased on-line and it's a little small, meaning he'll grow out of this before age 8 I am sure. The age range was 2-8, it should really be 18-months-4 or 5. But he'll enjoy it for a little while at least. Oh and you MUST have a rubber mallet to put it together with at least 2 people to help!

          I've always liked Lil' Tikes. This product is sturdy, the kids in my home child care loves it. The only thing I see wrong with it at times, is that I see some of the children unable to slide down. It's not slippery enough. But it only happens once in awhile.

            My 2 year old son loves this play set. It is the perfect size and combination for him, and it looks great in the back yard. It didn't take long to assemble and wasn't difficult, per se. Some of the pieces took a little more strength and force to snap together completely but that was in no way a deal breaker. Would definitely purchase this set again.

            I bought this for my 15 month old grandson who is very active. As soon as he is outside, he heads for his play tower. He can use both of the slides by himself. He has some difficulty climbing up the slats that lead to the slides, which I think will be remedied when he gets a little taller. It took two women who together weigh just over 200lbs about an hour to put the tower together. It wasn't easy, but we got it done without any manpower. The only questionable thing I could see about the product is that the box says it is for children up to the age of 8. My nephew is 8 and has no interest in it. He's too big for it, and he is slightly built.

              My husband just put this together last night in 15 minutes! Super easy assembly, he DID state that you needed "muscle" to assemble. My two-year-old loves this and immediately started climbing and sliding. It's indoors for now (we're going to have a rainy week) and will be moving it outdoors soon! Really cute and sturdy. Weight limit says 100 lbs per child. My son wanted me to slide with him, and I weigh 110. I did slide as well as stand on the platform, and the climber didn't budge. Will definitely be buying Little Tikes again. Great product!

                A really nice playground that all of our children enjoy. It's small enough for 2 to 3 year olds to climb on and even big enough for children the size of typical 7 to 8 year olds to have some fun with. My oldest child just fits through the tunnel and still has room width-wise on the slides and she is the size of an average 7 to 8 year old. Best age/size range for maximum fun seems to be about 3 to 5 years. Ours is inside so that our children have some added indoor exercise during the rainy season (which is most of the year!)so I don't know how it could hold up under average weather conditions outside. It does say that there are temp restrictions (direct sun and extreme cold are out). Very sturdy construction and it should provide several years of use for our youngest ones. [...] Assembly was pretty easy with 2 people. I'm pretty handy with assembling things, but I don't think I could have put it together by myself. While we didn't need dish detergent like the instructions suggest, we did need some strength to push and pull to get some pieces to click into place correctly. The only thing that I could wish for is that there might be some add-ons for it someday. Depending on how it's assembled, an additional tube could be added for more fun. Overall, I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a simple starter playground.
