My 2 year old granddaughter was standing on top of this slide when the backyard tree split down the middle and a 30 ft limb fell on her. She was buried under the tree and under the collapsed slide, but the slide took the brunt of the tree's weight and actually saved her life by covering her. My daughter (an Army officer and in good shape) had to use her legs to lift the tree and slide off her daughter while someone else pulled her to safety. The slide and ladder and little girl are all in fine shape (the tree is gone). However, there is one bracket that held the slide from its ladder that was twisted severly in the accident and I am hoping to get a replacement part. I'm sure this won't happen again in 100 years, but I am grateful to a plastic slide.

Our birthday gift for our very adventurous 2 year old grandaughter. I under-estimated the height of the slide and it seemed quite big once assembled but I chalk that up to be over-protective of our first grandbaby. She did just fine. The sides at the top of the ladder are reasons that her mom picked it out...they aren't low like other slides and it proved to take the un-easyness away. The birthday girl quickly became a slide expert. There is baby #2 on the way and I feel confident the sturdiness of this slide will weather both children. (in their household it is for indoor use, so I'm not sure what the weatherability would be like)

Bought these to replace a Little Tikes climber with slide in our church toddler room. The kids LOVE them. They were a bit difficult to put together as far as putting the ladder base on and attaching the slide to the ladder.

This slide is a great addition to our home. Our 2.5 year old daughter uses it everyday and LOVES it. We haven't put it outside yet because it is winter, but might put it outside in the summer. Hours of entertainment for her and fun for us all to watch her play and have fun with the slide. Might be too tall and fast for a child under 2.

My son is 2 and he loves the slide. He is able to use it indoors and outdoors. It is a great length and height and isn't too small. The ladder is also wide and safe for my son to climb. We had no issues....just non stop fun!

I bought this for my house so my grandson could come over and slide (one of the many toys I have here to play with!). It is perfect! He slides into ball pits, into a playhouse and we have also with supervision let him slide into our back yard pool with it. We have used it in the house and out. My husband is getting tired of lugging it around. I recommend that you purchase the big slide instead of the little one. I like that it folds up as well.

Hidden defects

I bought this as a present to my 2yr old daughter. When we recieved it I examined it before I let her play on it and I discovered that there were several holes in the second step of the ladder. Like who ever trimmed the sharp edges went too deep and actually removed some of the step's joint. When Little Tikes gave us a full replacement that one also had the same defective step. They are working with us to get another replacement.
