    My 19 month twins really enjoy this toy. They received it as a gift at 9 months and as they age they play with it more and more. At first they pushed the tabs that make sounds with their fingers. Now they are putting the shapes into the forms. They feel a real sense of accomplishment and they like the beeps when the shapes go through the holes. They are learning fine motor skills, shapes, and colors. The hammer was a weapon more than a tool so I removed it, but they still can use the toy as intended.

          We took this toy to Grandmas house and lost a piece during our stay. I am very upset to learn from Little Tikes that they do not have replacement parts available for this item. Kids lose pieces to toys often. I would recomend buying a shape sorter from a company that has replacement parts available.
