          My son had problems with overstimulation, sensory dysfunction, calming. We had a huge tree between apt bldgs, and a friend hung the swing for us with an added a spring so my son (age 5) could bounce as well as swing. When he became upset, instead of exploding, he would run out to his swing and let the motion help him calm down. Living in Texas the biggest problem is finding somewhere with a tree big enough to hang the swing. I think most kids would love the swing (especially with the added bounce feature), but if you have a child that has rages and difficulty calming, this is a huge help!

            So much fun and well-made, but one warning--it is VERY slippery if the kids try to climb on in wet bathing suits. My daughter ran from the waterslide to the swing and slipped right off. The swing then came back and clocked her right in the eye, giving her a nice shiner. By no means a flaw in design, just something to be aware of. It could happen with any swing, really! She still loves it, but she has learned to drop and cover if she falls off!

              I was gone when it arrived and my young teens had set it up along with the disc swing. My 3 yr. old is really enjoying them. I didn't know they would be ready to set up so quickly.
