Love this kitchen. I didn't know if I would like the wooden aspect or if it would look cheap... This product is very well made and it's adorable! It came with a lot of pieces but the directions made it easy to put together. Our daughter is a year old and loves this kitchen, I'm sure we will get a lot of use out of it. I would definitely buy it again, well worth the money!

We were looking for a play kitchen that is well made and includes a variety of activity stations, and the Little Tikes wooden kitchen turned out to be a great choice. As others have pointed out, it takes a long time to assemble, but so what? Just don't wait until Christmas Eve or the night before a birthday to put it together. I picked a day when I had a few hours of free time, put on a pot of coffee, and actually enjoyed the process. The end result was worth the time.

This was a gift for our daughter - she is quite young for it, but she was always playing with the older model (not Little Tykes) that we had purchased for our son 3 yrs back. So we wanted to find something wooden, that was sturdy and durable and that we did! This is very sturdy and so far very durable. Both of my children love to play with this kitchen (ages 4 and 1). I would recommend this product again and again. My only negatives on this is how long it takes to assemble and the microwave door is very very difficult to open on ours but otherwise a great product!

Time-consuming doesn't even begin to describe what is required. Attractive design but we haven't yet decided if the HUGE effort was worth the time, energy, and frustration.

The item:I love that this is primarily made of wood. The construction is extremely solid and durable. (NOTE, this means the item is also pretty heavy.) Looks and feels more satisfying than the all-plastic alternatives we considered. The plastic knobs that click when you turn them may wear out eventually. My daughter really likes the timer knob which dings when time is up. We got some cute kitchen playset accessories from [@] that go great with this item. Assembly:First of all, I thought some knobs were missing - but found they were tucking inside one of the accessories (pots), where I didn't expect to find them. Second, there are a ton of screws in the assembly. The numbering is found on the plastic clamshells and easy to miss at first glance, so be careful not to dump the screw outs of the container. Also, the screw holes in the wooden components are very teeny pilot holes, so my WORDS OF ADVICE to anyone tasked with the assembly of this: USE A POWER SCREWDRIVER! :) Well worth the effort at any rate, and my 3 y.o. loves it.

This has provided hours of creative fun as my grandsons develop story lines involving the kitchen. They have been chefs, restaurateurs, and party givers. It took a little while for Dad, Mom and an uncle to assemble but it was worth it. This is a high quality product that I recommend whole heartedly.

My daught is 20 months and she loves this kitchen. She plays with it everyday. It is great cause we can play together and she learns lots of things but I also love how she can play on her own and learn to be more independent.

I bought this product for my son who is 4 and we just love it, considered all the other kitchens on the market , this was the best buy.
We play with it every single day!I put it in my kitchen , so all the time I cook or prepar food he does the same playing with his kitchen...he ..........( it does take a few hours to assemble......)other than that it is a great great buy!

What everyone says is true...this kitchen takes HOURS to assemble! Once it's together, though, it's very cute and our son loves it. The clicking knobs are a nice plus for a wooden kitchen. It's not a huge kitchen, like the plastic ones, so it fits nicely in a small space.
