The Doors all opean easly for the child. Perfect for there hight. My child is a year and 4 months old. He always playes with this kitchen by mimking me washing dishes or puting lego's and play food in the microwve,oven,refreg.,and washing machine, makes a ringing noise when finsh washing. The kitchen has nobs that work and very colorfull.The sink knob also turns. =) and the stove top is so cute. Your child will have lots of fun. And the Play kitchen is made out of real wood not partcale board.Very heavy when finsh setting it up. It took us 3 hours to set up so do put some time apart. and make sure your child is ither a sleep or at another place because it does contine small parts while setting up. =)

I really wanted this kitchen because it's wood. I figured it would hold up better. My husband is an engineer who designs & builds things. It took him 2 hours to assemble what seemed like hundreds of pieces. He said the directions were very good but just be aware that it takes a long time to assemble if the directions make sense to you. My daughter stepped on one of the shelves while it was in place & it broke so apparently it's not as durable as I had hoped. It's fairly small so keep that in mind if you plan on having more than one child play w/ it at the same time. My 3 year old twins are fighting over where to stand. I was disappointed at how small it is. The website makes it seem so much bigger. It's perfect for one child. There aren't many sounds other than a few knobs that make noise when you turn them. The phone only has sticker numbers so nothing to press or make noise. The microwave is hard for my 3 year olds to open because it has the magnetic strip to open & close. They really have to pull hard. I'm already thinking I should've got something different. It's very expensive for what you get.

What everyone says is true...this kitchen takes HOURS to assemble! Once it's together, though, it's very cute and our son loves it. The clicking knobs are a nice plus for a wooden kitchen. It's not a huge kitchen, like the plastic ones, so it fits nicely in a small space.

    i bought this kitchen for my 18 month old daughter after reviewing just about every kitchen i could find on the internet. this kitchen has the most options for the money. there were some plastic ones with lots of bells and whistles, but they looked overwhelmingly cluttered and leave little to the imagination! the colors in this kitchen are great and gender neutral. right now, my daughter mostly "cooks" on the stove and puts dishes in the sink. my niece is 7 years old and she has a blast using the iron and washing machine. it's been a great bonding experience for the two girls since they have little in common and such an age gap. // so far this kitchen seems to be constructed very well, but we've only had it for about a month. it takes time to put together as it has around 150 screws. it's well worth it in the end!

      My 2 1/2 year old grand-daughter loves this all-in-one kitchen/play center. She heads for it right when she walks in my home. It has everything...sink/dishwasher, laundry and basket, storage cabinet, stove/oven/microwave, iron with slide out board, fridge, clock, phone and cute accessories. It is very sturdy and the primary colors are great. It does take a long time to assemble, but it is worth it. Love it!

          My son loves this little kitchen, but I am not that thrilled about it. It's really just partical board & breaks very easily. If looking for a kitchen set go with the plastic instead of this one. If your set on wood spend the extra & go with Pottery Barns wood kitchen set I wish I had. It's worth the big price tag compared to what you get with this one. It is also EXTREMELY frustrating to put together. It took my husband approximately 4 hours to assemble & he's a contractor by trade.

              My granddaughter went right to the kitchen and started to cook from the second she set her eyes on it!! It was a Christmas present and she continues to serve breakfast, lunch and dinner to her parents or anyone who happens to visit. she especially enjoys baking and doing the laundry.                 My kids are 2.5 years and 1 year. They LOVE this kitchen. I put most of it together in about 2 hours and my husband finished it off in about 30 minutes. I love that the colors aren't obtrusive to my living/dining/kitchen/play space. My parents bought it as a combined Christmas gift and I'm so glad they did. My son plays with it for long periods of time. And everything plays in the kitchen...the cars, farm animals, dinosaurs, action figures. The door to the laundry center can be easily pulled off, but it doesn't really bother me or the kids. I think it's pretty perfect.
