    Both my 2-year-old daughter and 1.5-year-old nephew LOVE this teeter totter. Once they figured out where they were supposed to sit, we couldn't get them off. When my nephew was done playing, my husband sat on one side so my daughter could keep playing - worked like a champ. It's size is nice - not so big that you don't want it inside your house. Kids can sit in middle section and rock themselves if they can't find someone to hop on with them.

                  I originally was going to purchase a rocking horse for my 16 MO daughter who loves playing "row row row your boat". I decided to go with this one since it is more versitile. She can rock it by herself and later on use it as a teeter totter with a friend or future siblings. As always with Little Tikes the quality is outstanding for the price. We couldn't be happier!

                    Winter was long and cold saw this on sale and had it delivered ! My son was babysitting his nieces at my house and this was great for them to use inside !                     handle grips

                    In case anyone is interested, the hand grips sold for this whale teeter totter will also fit the alligator teeter totter. There are no replacement parts for the alligator, so I took a chance and ordered the whale grips, and they fit. Just use a utility knife to cut off the old grips (make a slice and they come off easily). I have a hand-me-down teeter totter which is in great condition except the grips were very dirty and sticky and I couldn't get them clean. After replacing the grips, its a good a new.

                      I sent this as a birthday present to a grand nephew in another city. He and his sister and many cousins and friends all seemed to really enjoy it at his birthday party. They had it indoors, but his parents said it would also work well outdoors. It seemed to bring out great care for the smaller child's welfare when they played with a one-year-old cousin on it, although the cousin's personality might have had something to do with that. I live two hours away, and if there are problems, I wouldn't hear about them, but it didn't seem like there would be any.
