          Very hard to find item even at toys r us. With your special price, it is a great value however if on regular price, it would be hard to compete with other toys like lego, mega blocks. best lock, etc. which aims to develop good motor skills, imagination , creativity and discipline. However, for younger kids, this toy is a MUST. Grasping things and introduction to imagination and creativity are its high points.

            A friend of ours has the large waffle blocks which are awesome, but a little pricey and would take up too space in our small play room.
            I saw this smaller version online and thought they'd be perfect for my 3 year old son. He loves them, and his 5 year old brother also has fun building forts out of them for his super hero figures. (not sure I'd buy them for a 5 year old but he does enjoy playing with them). They come in a nice storage bucket, and we love that the lid has holes in it for building a base.

                I have everysize of these blocks and have ran my home daycare for 33 years and hands down these have always been every childs favorite toy in my daycare. From as soon as they start walking and picking up toys they are drawn to these blocks, they start trying to build with them at eighteen months and can do it all by two. A little imagination is all thats needed. Any kids not interested in these blocks must be lacking in imagination.
