Our 19-month LOVES this toy! We rec'd it and the pedal piece was broken- we were able to make it work for the time being but Little Tikes was very fast to ship the new piece.
I anticipate this will be used for years to come!
A little higher than the picture on the website depicted but very sturdy and I don't worry about it being tippy at all.

This was a gift for my 4 yr old son from his grandparents. He does have a regular two-wheeler bike with training wheels but always seemed frustrated with riding it so his grandparents thought a "big kid" trike would be a good fit. It was NOT fun to assemble and took some time but wasn't incredibly difficult either. The trike is large. It doesn't turn as far compared to other trikes I've seen. I highly doubt a 6 yr old would enjoy riding it. I think this trike more suits the 2-4 yr old range. Also our model has blue pedals (no yellow).

I received this toy about a week ago. I was anxious to put it together as my child was very excited! Trying to assemble the first two pieces was very frusterating. I wouldn't keep yourself from buying it though just because of this. It's not like it's impossible, just be prepared for some extra time in assembling the toy and possible frustration. The worst part of this toy (and as a first time Little Tikes customer), was dealing with Little Tikes. In trying to assemble the toy, I was stopped by a missing piece. For some odd reason the bike was missing a pedal. How does this happen? So weird. My child was very disappointed, as was I. I had waited to receive this for about a week and when I did, we couldn't even use it! It took 3 days to receive an answer back from Little Tikes on the replacement piece and when I did hear back instead of telling me they were sorry and would send it out ASAP (like overnight or 2nd day air would be appropriate), they said it will take 7 to 14 days!!! Now is this any way to treat a customer who was shorted pieces for their child's toy? You made a stupid mistake little tikes! Thumbs up for (I think what will be) a fun toy, but two thumbs down for Little Tikes itself and their failure to care about their customer. Little Tikes will be at the bottom of my list when toy shopping for my child, as they obviously care little about their customers. Little Tikes, you do realize it is us (the consumers) that keep you in business? Maybe you should put a little more effort into caring about us and properly fixing your mistakes. You can start with two easy words, "I'm sorry."
