This a great product. Can't really find any major complaints other than the dimensions on the website were confusing. The product was bigger than expected. We liked the unique look of the product. So far our 7 year boy, boy/girl 4 year old twins and 1 year love it. It was bought as an inside toy. So far the kids and their friends have really enjoyed playing in it.

My son-in-law had to physically jump down on the corners to assemble this product. I know because I helped him assemble it. Very sturdy though and my granddaughter loved it!!

We got the castle for our almost 2 yr old son for Christmas and he loves it! We had to teach him how to put his feet in the holes to climb up the slide, but after a few tries, he's got it down. The only complant is that a small part of the wall sticks out at the bottom of the slide. Our son quickly learned to lean a little to the right so he doesn't hit his arm. It wasn't too hard to put together for 2 adults at midnight Christmas Eve! The door does need a handle inside.

Okay ladies, I'm going to tell you how to put this beauty together yourself without waiting for hubby to come home and throw a "This is impossible!" hissy fit. I'm a 120lb housewife and I managed it. You're going to need 3 things: WD40, a crowbar (ESSENTIAL!), and a screwdriver. That's it. Forget the block and rubber mallet. And you won't need to climb on it or bounce your weight on it. Before fitting together the plastic segments, spray the WD40 on the top edge of the female slots. Then position the male edges so that they're all ready to be pushed down into place. Now take the crowbar, with the hooked side toward you and facing down, and wedge its flat end between the top of the top male edge and its corresponding slot. Press on the hooked end and the whole wall should snap down into place. Voila! I did have some trouble attaching the 2 halves of the tower, but that's because one of the screwholes wasn't drilled straight. Also, for anyone worried about delivery, you can open the box at the curb and carry each piece in one at a time--there isn't anything in here that weighs more than your toddler.

We have two children (a 3 yr. old boy and an almost 2 yr. old girl). They absolutely love this castle! It is in our yard. They play in it all of the time! They love to go in and hide inside the castle and the "secret door" is definitely a hit! The only bad part is the blue door can be very difficult to open. It took my husband and myself to put the castle together but it wasn't horribly difficult. We are actually considering purchasing another one for inside their toy room! Great buy!

This is a wonderful toy....our three year old loves it! It was easy to put together, is very sturdy, etc. GREAT TOY...the only complaint I have is that it is EXPENSIVE and Little Tikes has free shipping that changes from day to day, so I waited one day and had to pay over $40 shipping, and then the next day, free shipping was back again.

I purchased the Classic Castle over 18 years ago. It has gone through 3 boys, their friends, many many cousins and 3 dogs. Now the castle is ready for the next generation.

I don't remember if it was difficult to put together - but no matter how long it took ... it was worth it. We have had hours and hours of fun with the kids and this castle. There are not many toys that have lasted 18+ years and as many kids as we have had play with it....Great job Little Tikes.

I am a contractor - educated into an engineer. Well designed, and super easy assembly. Hardest part of assembly was keeping my son out of it while I was putting it together. Instructions say hammer- bring a 4# mallet and a 1x6 (18" long). Instructions say screw driver, use a dewalt battery drill with a Phillips #2 bit. That was it! no further need of anything. Put it together in the order the instructions suggest, lean, cover with the wood and tap with hammer when you need to lock things together. Don't be afraid to put your foot on it when need be to lock it. You can't break it. I am a reasonable size guy at 240# and stood on slide, smacked it with the hammer... 30 min assembly max.
