    As the mom of two boys and then a energetic girl, we have had tons of outdoor play toys. This is perfect for sand and water play, with a little mixing together from time to time. I like that it is so easy to dump the water from one side, and quickly cover the sandbox side. We have had other sand boxes, and the covers have been cumbersome to use. This cover stays attached to the bottom so it is quick and easy to put on.

    The included umbrella is the best feature for us. It is simple to put in the butterfly middle, and opens and closes with ease. We usually take it in at night so that it will not get too much weathering. It adjusts up and down so you can put it in the perfect spot for where the sun is positioned. This feature alone is well worth the price of the product. This is my first review on a toy because it has been such a great toy that I want others to know as well.

    I like the fact that this is smaller and doesn't take up a lot of yard space. It's perfect for toddlers. My 11 mo old son and 2 year old niece love to play in it together. I do not like the fact that the lid is not secured more than the rubber tube. There is no screws or knobs of any kind, so the little spaces let in dirt and rain no matter how hard you try to keep it out... great sandbox...buy a tarp to cover it.

        My 14 month old daughter loves this thing! She just goes back and forth between both parts and pours sand into the pool, etc. It's great that the pool turns into a cover to keep the sand clean at night and it's easy to empty the pool! The Umbrella is a great bonus as we have this on our porch and there isn't any natural shade. I have nothing bad to say about it! It's also a super cute design. :)

              It is perfect for my daughter who is 1 1/2 years old. putting two kids in the pool side is a little tricky and more than 2 - not going to happen. but for a little fun in the afternoon its great. have not have any issues with leaking or the umbrella. great value for the money.

                My 2 years old grandson loves this sandbox and puts all his cars and trucks in it. The problems I have with the products is that most kids put sand in the water section and can creat a sandy mushy mess and there is no water drain on the pool side to drain the water out, so you have to lift the entire pool side over to drain, not good if you have a bad back. The other problem is when you close the two pieces together, there is not a latch to keep it closed, the pieces just lay one on top of the other, easy on a windy day to be lifted up, had to put a brick to keep the top down. Otherwise my grandson loved it!!!

                  I feel this item is great, especially for outdoor play. I was pretty excited when I opened the box and could understand the directions and assemble this piece myself! (My husband was so proud ;) )
                  My son loves playing in the sand, and I wish I would have bought this for him sooner. I have other items from Little Tikes, and I really appreciate that I am buying something American made.
                  My only complaint about this is that the umbrella could have another way of standing if you didn't want to stick it in the ground. For example, we have ours on the porch, and the umbrella doesn't stand well because it is not stuck in the ground.

                    My daughter got this for her first birthday, she just turned two and she still loves it! It takes only one 50LB bag of play sand, about 5 bucks at [...]! I love how she can have sand and water to play with on a hot day. The only thing that I am sad about is that the umbrella is torn from the wind. (Not a storm, just normal ware and tear.) Now I am looking on how to get a replacement. Otherwise, great product!
