    Based on the excellent reviews I decided to buy this for my 17 month son. I purchased two sets because most reviewers recommended this. I think for my young son, only one set was needed. But I also have a 3 year old and she likes the tunnels and castles we can build with two sets. And I enjoy rearranging the blocks for the kids. This toy will entertain for years and for that reason I am really happy with our purchase.

        My kids had these growing up and they LOVED them. They would built anything you could imagine!                 These things last a lifetime. My friend and I used to play with them as children at her home and now our kids play with the same ones. They are atleast 30 years old and are in great condition. They may be a bit pricey, but they will last for generations.

                    I bought this product for the first time nearly 30 years ago for my own children, passing them along to younger cousins, and then to the next generation. No "toy" has ever been enjoyed more or lasted as long. I had to buy more big waffle blocks (2 sets) now that I have grandchildren, since the originals are still in use by others. Both boys and girls love to create forts, castles, staircases, etc. with these blocks. I would recommend buying two sets of blocks in order to create almost anything, including structures young children can get inside to play.

                    We love these blocks. My 3 and a half year old and two year old both spend more time playing with them than the bounce house they received for Christmas. My complaint is that we bought 2 sets and it seems like we could really use three to build anything substantial. I think the product is quality, (although I wish it were actually made in the USA), but you should get a little more for your money.
