These came with a basketball hoop I purchased for my 2 year old and I found them perfect for letting her use to practice in the house over the winter. The balls are soft and light enough that I don't have to worry about things breaking or people getting hurt when they are thrown, but they still bounce and handle well, and have held up to her kicking. She enjoys playing all kinds of games with them and I have hidden all her other "mini-basketballs" in favor of these.

We love, love, love the basketball hoop we purchased so much we keep buying them for our friends. A great value and fun for indoor use. We have never tried it outdoors.
Because my 2 1/2 year old likes to play with me, his dad and friends, we wanted extras (the hoop comes with one) but were disappointed in the quality. As stated above, they were all different, some needed air, some were lopsided etc and unfortunately because they are so inexpensive, it doesn't pay to send them back.

You WILL NEED a pump if you get these as some initially needed air and they require semi-frequent servicing. My husband played ball in high school and college so treats this pretty seriously....

Having said all that, I would still purchase because we LOVE this toy and live having the extra balls.

      We have an indoor basketball goal and needed extra balls to go with it. Another online store had the same balls, but for $3 more at Little Tikes, I got four balls instead of one. I couldn't beat this price. They are perfect for our use. The kids can handle them well, and they are even good at shooting from a distance (they don't float to the left or right). Overall, great product.

        The kid's backetball set comes with a single basketball. By adding 4 more more than one child can be handling a ball and shoot baskets at the same time. Well worth the cost.

            These are great balls for a great price. We got my son the basketball hoop last year for Christmas and I swear it is what made him feel the need to walk by himself (he couldn't dunk the ball with both hands and hold onto us at the same time). One ball is not enough though and I suggest everyone get this supplementary pack. I couldn't find it in stores and had to order it online. I really like that it isn't filled with foam likes the other balls - my son would try to eat those when he was little.

                      I was glad to get these replacement balls for so cheap, considering our puppy popped the one we got with the hoop originally within a few days of getting it. I hope these last longer! :) I was glad to see they came already blown up too. That was very helpful!
