These came with a basketball hoop I purchased for my 2 year old and I found them perfect for letting her use to practice in the house over the winter. The balls are soft and light enough that I don't have to worry about things breaking or people getting hurt when they are thrown, but they still bounce and handle well, and have held up to her kicking. She enjoys playing all kinds of games with them and I have hidden all her other "mini-basketballs" in favor of these.

We love, love, love the basketball hoop we purchased so much we keep buying them for our friends. A great value and fun for indoor use. We have never tried it outdoors.
Because my 2 1/2 year old likes to play with me, his dad and friends, we wanted extras (the hoop comes with one) but were disappointed in the quality. As stated above, they were all different, some needed air, some were lopsided etc and unfortunately because they are so inexpensive, it doesn't pay to send them back.

You WILL NEED a pump if you get these as some initially needed air and they require semi-frequent servicing. My husband played ball in high school and college so treats this pretty seriously....

Having said all that, I would still purchase because we LOVE this toy and live having the extra balls.

    We bought this set in addition to the Plays Like a Pro set so the kids would have a few extra basketballs. They are AWESOME. The balls are the perfect size for small hands (age 2.5 and 5.5) and having more than one basketball allows them to have a shooting competition. In addition, they have created other multi-ball games to play.

      I purchased this set of 4 basketballs to go along with the TotSports EasyScore Basketball Set. The balls are exactally the same. My almost 2 year old grandson loved it. Everyone had a ball and took turns putting it in the hoop. As he gets older, it will still be nice to have spare basketballs.

        We have 2 little boys that are 4 years apart and they both love basketball but were constantly fighting over the ball. So mommy solved the problem and now their friends have balls to play with too! Only negative was one ball had a small hole in it when we got the box but its still nice to have 3 new balls!

        These replacement basketballs are a fantastic addition gift to the basketball hoop/single ball set. My 2 year old nephew will play the game for much longer periods of time now, and now seems to be getting better at it. Before we got these balls, I think we were all getting a bit tired of throwing the ball once, then chasing it down, then throwing again, etc. Plus, it is more fun when he plays with friends (and adults!). These balls are compatible with Fisher-Price hoops too. I think as long as the price stays reasonable, even if they lose air over time or wear down on cement, they are easy enough to replace, and are worth it as they are to keep the basketball hoop a used toy!

        I purchased these basketballs as replacement balls for the Little Champs Sports Center. They are much too large! I didn't see any diameter mentioned in the discription before purchasing and had hoped these basketballs were the same as the balls that came with this set. They are nice little basketballs, but not ones that my Grandson can use with his Little Tikes Sports Center. I purchased a can of hand balls and they are working great!
