We bought this for our 2 year old for christmas and its a hit. We wanted something that all 3 boys can play with the age range is 9 months to 5. This is great. The 2 year old will not let anyone play with it but him. I hope it wears off, but i guess a full kitchen is next.

    When our 2 1/2 year old granddaughter got her Bar-B-Que, it was already well passed her bed time. But as soon as she saw a "grill like Daddy's", she was wide awake and slappin' burgers on the grill for everyone! She must have spent the next 2 hours taking orders, cooking them up and serving the food. She even did the dishes! She even "hired" me as an assistant. I had never seen her do so much role playing and using her imagination to such a high degree; you could almost see the little gears churning in her mind as she decided what Grandpa realy wanted (not the brocolli). And when she could hardly keep her eyes open any longer, cleanup was a snap, eveything went into the cabinet for easy transportation from Grandma's house to home. The only problem she had was with lifting the lid on the grill. The upper portion is a bit top heavy and it would cause the whole grill to fall backwards if she wasn't holding it down. She learned the "5 second rule of grilling".

      My 2-year old nephew loved this gift. By summer, he will be old enough that all of the food items should be safe for him to play with (some items were on the small side). I like the fruit and veggies that are included in this set so it adds some 'nutrition' to go along with the typical bbq fare.

              Love that the grill came with three different sets of food/dishes. Only problem is with the grill - it falls over very easily so I just dont feel like it's very sturdy. My 2 year old loves it, I just wish it was maybe a little heavier on the bottom so keep it more steady.

                    My 2 year old just loves this. The we only have one big problem, he will not share this with his other brothers. Also when we built it the one knob did not have the holes to put the knob in so my husband had to drill them in. Other than that this is a great toy for little boys to be just like daddy.
