Having a child who's small for her size I wanted something adjustable so it could better serve her now and grow with her. Setting the top at an angle also was attractive. I'm disappointed in how difficult it is to adjust. I thought it would simply slide up and down by loosening the end caps, but you must remove the caps and pull the table top completely out of the side supports, bending the sides out to do so, and there are really only two operational heights. I guess this is required for structural stability in the design, as there are slots in the side supports which the top fits into. While the lip along the edge is handy for catching spills, in the angled position it isn't big enough to hold any writing implements, and the table surface is textured so any drawing you do transfers that to your art (not a huge deal with toddler art perhaps). Large plastic clips hold paper in place, but they are not ideal. I think they missed an opportunity to make the reverse side of the table top an alternative surface with compartments for drawing implements. Instead it's merely structural. All that aside, it's a useful little table that my daughter is plenty satisfied with, and it was relatively cheap and easy to assemble. While you're supposed to screw right into the plastic I found it beneficial to drill pilot holes.

The instructions say that all you need is a screwdriver. However, we pull this out of the box and attempt to assemble per the directions. Here is a hard plastic product with long screws and there are no holes for the screws to go into. Sure, this is probably an easy assemble if you have the proper tools (ie a power screwdriver, a vise, or a drill). However, a regular screwdriver will not get the job done. Next time, when you say a screw goes somewhere...put a starter hole there for the screw to go into.

    I bought this for my nephews for when they come to my house. Being that I don't have a dining room table this works great!! It was easy to put together (I have power tools making it super easy!)My only small minor complaint is it came missing a knob for the adjusting. I'm looking for my receipt but also on here looking at how to replace it. Otherwise, I think it's awesome!!

        We bought the table for my daughter's first birthday and she loves it. I like that the table can be lowered down so far because her favorite thing to do right now is stand on the table or play on the table. It's definitely strong and has been holding up well. We are very pleased with this product. Also, the shipping was great - very fast!

          i bought this for my almost 2 year old granddaughter. It was easy for me to put together by myself. I set it up as the art table and she loves sitting and coloring on the paper under the clip. If the back was smooth, then children could sit on both sides and do art work.

            I would have given it 4 stars but the directions for puting it together was strange. And you have to nail some of the pieces together so I wonder... My husband is an engineer and he did not like the setup.

            Also My son is small for his age and I was worried the table & seating would be to large but its perfect fit for him. Overall the price is right and product is perfect for my little man.

            I looked high and low before I found something to fit my needs and the needs of my grandson---who wanted his own table. The draws back I have regarding this table are: 1) it is not easy to clean with it rough surface, however, it is easy to sanitize; 2) there are not enough paper clips and 3) customer service has not been customer friendly when it came to trying to order replacement paper clips!!

                    The table is sturdy and well-made, and easy to assemble. I didn't realize my son would have to climb into it, and as a 16 month old, he doesn't have the patience to figure it out yet. Once he gets used to the setup, it may be good for him to use at mealtime.
