    My 12 month old son likes to ride the trike. He is tall so his feet can reach the ground and since there are no foot straps, he can make the trike stop abruptly. It can tip over quite easily. Since the straps aren't fitted enough, he is often leaning to once side making it weighted on one side which doesn't help the balance of they already unstable toy. He loves the sounds and steering wheel. It is easy for us to push and steer from the back handle. I feel like there are better toys for the money since I am concerned about my son tipping over easily due to the instability and causing the toy to flip from his feet touching the ground while I am pushing it. Also, the straps need to fit better to work. I was disappointed with the toy, but we will continue to use it and hopefully the next transition stages will be better for him.

    Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

          We gave this trike to our grandson for his first birthday. He absolutely loves it. His parents had a difficult getting him off of it the first time he rode it. When we go for a walk, this is the mode of transportation he always wants so we have to hide it from him if we want to use the stroller!! I hope as he grows, he continues to enjoy it as much as he does now.
